After being escorted out, you're led to a hall just outside of the main 'mansion' itself. While there's not much here, there are catering tables, pleasantly festive music, and plenty of other animals to talk to! Drinks and food are provided free of charge, by the city, so have fun and get to know some of the other contestants, if you'd like!

Sonata was gently ushered out of the Spooky Simulacrum by an attendant into a long stretch of hallway scarcely decorated and clearly not a part of the main attraction. It seemed to look like a waiting room with a few other guests who probably lost the same as him somewhere along their path in the mansion and what smelled like to be food. He wasn't really thinking about all that though, because up until then Sonata was focusing on holding back his tears from the attendant. He didn't want to be a poor sport, but the panic of the situation of how he got lost was still with him, along with a good helping of shame for loosing his cool so quickly in the mansion. Now that the attendant had turned their back to walk down the corridor the two of them just came from the wolf felt comfortable to let out a few sniffles and tears.

With a bruised nose and ego Sonata looked for a corner of the room he could hide to wipe his eyes from and hopefully get a grip over his emotions. He can't let anyone else see him be so uncool.

Upon hearing someone from behind Sonata quickly wiped his face clear of any remaining tears, sniffed back hard, and turn around pretending as if nothing in the last three minutes or so just took place.

"Huh-, what? Sorry." Sonata muttered before snorting and taking a hard breath of air through his nostrils. "I had a piece of candy corn stuck up my sinus somehow, but I got it now" Smooth he thought, a brilliant excuse for the sniffling. No one would see through his lie.

"When did they catch me? Oh, in the mansion yeah." The wolf threw a paw back behind his head in a laughed. He scratching nervously at the back of his head as a faint blush crossed his cheeks thinking back again at how embarrassingly uncool he had been panicking towards the end of his game.

"I uh, somehow got lost in the maze. Not to confuse you with the mansion itself, but I found a maze of mirrors within the mansion and lost my way. I hit a dead end and after a while of twiddling my thumbs an attendant nabbed me from where I was." Sonata paused for a moment considering the lie he just told wondering if he had really come off as convincing. Wanting to shift the conversation off himself he returned the same question to the wolf in front of him. "What about you? Obviously you didn't make it to the end otherwise you wouldn't be here."
