How they met the tribe: He absolutely came across three eerie stargazing does in the wood and decided for some reason to run towards them instead of away. Realistically speaking he probably thought they were aliens otherworldly beings and was incredibly disappointed to find they weren't. Still, getting friendly with them seemed like a good idea, because obviously otherworldly beings only appear at night, and a bunch of kin who sit around watching the sky all night are more likely to notice anything unusual than most other kin.
Personality blurb: The Truth, as he calls himself while gallivanting around the swamp searching for "otherworldly beings," is an extreme oddball. He's not too dedicated to his duties, but at least he can be relied on to investigate every single Strange Sound and Weird Light that happens in the dark. And he does spend a good deal of time staring enraptured at the sky, so it's not like he's completely out of place.
