Physical Description: Divisti’s hair has recently white and is worn braided most of the time. It contrasts with her cool brown skin and amber eyes in a startling way.
Personality: Divisti creates a little world of what she considers “hers.” She is possessive of her things, be they items, locations, or people. They are hers to protect and care for. Hers to guide and help. Hers. This isn’t to say that she doesn’t recognize that the people have their own thoughts and feelings, but she will not let someone come in and hurt them. She is extremely protective of what is “hers.” And she has a very broad interpretation of possession. If she has deemed something or someone hers then she believes she should help whether they seem to want it or not. She tries to give what help she can give up until it becomes completely impractical for her to persist in trying to give it. Long after most people would have stopped trying. This has caused friction and driven people away which hurts her but she hides it away inside.
She is very private in her own affairs for all that she wants to know about everyone else's to be able to take care of them. She won’t ask for help for herself or share what is going on inside her head. Her emotions are boxed off from the world for only her to know. She is proud, believing in herself to be superior to others for no more reason than that she is. It is a fact she doesn’t have to prove, debate, or discuss with anyone. But Divisti is practical and not above taking help from others when it is offered. Just because she is better than the person in general doesn’t mean that she is not aware there are specific areas someone might be better than her in. But she is still superior as a whole.
She will do what is needed to get the job done, in the most efficient way possible with as little loss as possible. Fripperies and other nonsense are for other people to handle. She will just get things moving and solved. Hysterics are for others to have. Divisti is persistent in her endeavors and willing to keep at something until it is done. If she has to try a hundred times, she will try a hundred times. She will keep changing it ever so slightly until she finds the perfect solution to the problem.

History: Divisti was born in a minor hold called Two Turns Hold outside of Telgar Hold. The eldest lady in the hold said the name came from the directions on how to find it, “two turns in the roads past the big red fruit tree…,” but Divisti just thought that someone had been very lazy when coming up with the name. Still, it was a good home where she grew up with a loving family of caprine herders and 8 siblings. It was more than could be supported by their farm though (they didn’t need that many caprine herders) and she set out to find another job to do around the area.
She became the apprentice of the local healer and showed such an aptitude for the craft that the holders got together and sent her to the Healer Hall. She planned to return to Two Turns once she had studied and take care of it and the surrounding areas. At the Healer Hall she studied general healing and focused on herbalism.
All those plans changed when Threadfall came back. Two Turns Hold was destroyed. Divisti was livid. How dare it do that. That was her home. Her family. Her friends. She was distraught and very lost. Her purpose was gone. And there was nothing she could have done to help them.
But it didn’t take very long for her to get the determination to find a new purpose. She would help everyone she could along the way while she found those that were hers to protect and cherish again. She couldn’t stop the Thread from falling but she would do what she could to help the people of Pern live. To do that she had to study and learn as much as she could.
It was as rumors of a new Gold flying at Western were flying about the Hall that a dragonrider stopped by to pick up supplies. He ended up picking up a candidate for High Reaches as well in the form of Divisti. They had only just opened the Weyr up for searches again and the man’s green searched her while she was delivering the items. When given the opportunity to maybe actually stop the Thread from falling she answered with a very definitive yes.
