Physical Description: Felestia is tall and lithe. Very pale skin and black hair. Green eyes. Even years of being a dragon rider could not bulk her up.
Personality: A generally amiable person, Felestia enjoys social occasions and is full of easy smiles. Being with her has been likened to drinking a warm cup of klah or tea. Though a few would argue that it can be unpredictably spiked with alcohol. She finds the world quite droll and is often amused about something. Not afraid to share what she is amused about is putting it mildly. She wants people to share in her amusement and weird understanding of the world. There are some topics though that some of her friends steer clear of, if just to save themselves a hyper enthusiastic chatter on the subject. She is passionate and emotive most of the time, but when you get her started on those topics, such as fashion, she will endanger any crockery within arms reach.

A little frivolous, Felestia indulges in things and doesn’t really take complaints or concerns seriously. She does what she wants because it is what she wants and brushes off and chastisements with levity. She is rather unashamed about pandering to her own preferences and unabashed about pursuing them. Though she is rather reactive and more likely to act quickly without much thought when unexpected occurrences happen.

History: Felestia was born to two very serious and straightforward parents in Tillek. They didn’t know what to do with their rambunctious and to them strange child. She got in trouble often as a child and they just couldn’t figure out what to do. So when she showed a passion for clothing and designing it was with some relief that they sent her to the Weavercrafthall.

She loved it there and eventually became a Journeyman and set off to explore various types of clothing and design for people. When she was 29 she had the good fortune to witness a Hatching at Whitecliff Weyrhold. Much to everyone’s surprise she impressed a gold dragon, Quineth.

After Weyrling training she became a wandering designer and managed to make something of a reputation. But she never thought herself good enough to try to become a master. Maybe it was the time caring for Quineth that held her back but she didn’t mind. Quineth was better than any Master title. Even though she wandered she would go back to Whitecliff for Quineth’s clutchings.

Both Felstia and Quineth made all the wrong choices in love over the years. They had their hearts broken many times and eventually stopped looking for someone to share their lives with. When they finally settled in Wetern Weyr when Felstia was 76, it was with great delight that they got to spend some time helping in the creche. Both of them loved the children and Quineth delighted in being a climbing place for the young ones.

It was an adjustment to being a wingrider for a bit, and those years as one caused Felstia to understand better why dragonriders stuck together more. The companionship of other dragonriders was delightful. She had no issue with having a female greenrider Weyrleader when Hestia took over and found the whole thing rather amusing.

Eventually Felestia had to retire because, though Quineth was still able to be in a wing, she was not. Her bones ache when flying and doing drills left her stiff and in pain for hours. She was old but not too old to help out. She became a fixture in the creche and helped raise may children.

Physical Description: Chubby and with short legs and tail, Quineth looks like the dragon version of an old dumpy lady.
Personality: Quineth love love. She is a romantic who just sees the best in the world and the situation. She match makes without shame and sighs dreamily at young love. One of her great regrets is that she never succeeded in finding that love for herself. A little flighty she can forget to do things easily and feels great remorse when she realizes it. She practically droops at the idea that she might have disappointed someone because she forgot or was distracted. But when she is happy she is radiant with joy and oozes contentment. Her emotions are extremes.
