Personality: Up until three months ago, Wyllig had always known where she was going and that she would get there someday, even if she didn't know how. She approaches life as a puzzle to be solved, and even though she isn't all that bright, she enjoys the challenge of working things out. These imaginative traits definitely persist today, but where she was once confident and certain, Wyllig is now rather untethered. She had a plan that included a lot of runners, a handsome husband, and six or seven pretty babies, and that's clearly not happening anymore. Jumping into new situations without much planning, laughing loudly, and talking back seem to be the flavors of the moment, and even after she finds her place at the weyr and calms down a bit, she will still have a tendency toward voicing her opinions at inopportune times and poking her head where it doesn't belong.

History: Born to Wilmah, a runner breeder, and Yulig, a runner showman, Wyllig and her twin brother Yullah were surrounded by runners for as long as they could remember. They were raised at Keroon Hold, and though he loved his sister and his parents, Yullah never seemed happy with his home. As soon as he found a reason to, he left the hold and didn't look back. It was thirteen-year-old Wyllig's first experience with what she deemed betrayal, and it wouldn't be her last.
She was already a runnercraft apprentice, but she threw herself into the work with even greater fervor, walking the tables at seventeen and leaving Keroon herself, but never for long. On one of her trips, she met a journeyman farmer named Shey and they hit it off famously. Wyllig found excuses to visit him as frequently as possible, and for nearly two years, she was content. Unfortunately, when their conversations finally got around to marriage, children, and settling, Shey grew increasingly angry, wanting to keep their arrangement as it always had been. She pressed, he clammed up, and after a lengthy screaming match, Shey told Wyllig she was no longer welcome in his home. Betrayed again.
Wyllig was devastated, but she pushed through, continuing to do her job. If she was a little angrier, no one really seemed to notice. It was only this past week when she began to feel a little better, joking with a new, flirty couple rather than snapping at them, and she was rewarded with a visit from a search dragon and an offer to stand for the newest clutch at High Reaches. It wasn't anything she had ever seen herself doing, but surely riding a dragon wasn't any harder than riding a runner.
