The slice had carved through the child, Soyeon wearing an expression of surprise as the dark haired male would stand over her after the fact. She crumbled to the ground as blood flowed from her wounds. The young girl would look down at herself for a brief moment, her vision going blurry as she felt cold. "Ha-H..." she coughed, a metallic taste in her mouth while watching as Belamos would break free from his icy prison and do battle with the stranger in the sky. Explosions were inbound, everything was so...fantastical. Soyeon would have been so excited had she not nearly been in a near death state. She felt so cold like this, wishing for a blanket or something. Instead, her warmth came in the form of a green haired woman rushing to her. Soyeon hadn't met her before. The girl's amber eyes would be halfway closed, but even Kagerou could see the life dwindling in them.

The more she worked, the more Soyeon wondered what was happening. She was much too young to understand how the body worked but her wounds would feel as if they weren't hurting or there anymore. Even leaves started to fall despite it being night. They had such a precious glow to them as well... Her eyes looked up to the sky as another woman yelled and then the glint of something above. Blue shapes were multiplying rapidly, Soyeon whining and pointing up above.

"Another one?" was all Kagerou thought as she heard a vaguely familiar voice cry out "DAD!" in desperation over the roaring heat and screeching cold. Turning around, she saw that she now had a second child to watch out for: Nohea running in her direction. Well, more specifically, Belamos's direction, but same difference. Beneath her glowing hands, the first small child under her guard had been healed, physically at least, but remained largely unconscious. Her vitals were so weak that Kagerou was afraid they would go out at any moment, like a candle in the wind. The trauma of having been nearly cut must have sent the child into shock.

The next thing she heard was the thundering impact of Belamos being sent flying. Initially, Kagerou had thought that he was just holding back because of how close his precious enclave was, but she was now starting to believe that he had grown rusty with his years of retirement. Feeling the stakes raising higher, the kunoichi honed her attention onto the black man in the sky as he insulted Sonyo's daughter. When the green haired woman felt Nohea pass by her, a hand shot out and pulled down sharply on the teen's arm, making her fall next to Kagerou's side. She smiled calmly, but the danger of the situation did not escape her. Protect, she needed to protect everyone, and what this foe intended to do with the forming ice knives was as clear as day. They soon numbered in the multitudes. A dizzying array of deadly beautiful crystalline structures. Even Soyeon woke up to admire of them. Smiling upon the distraught girl, Kagerou patted her head soothingly and whispered, "There, there. Everything will be alright. Your white haired big sister will protect you," to comfort her. Kagerou spared a moment to give Nohea a meaningful glance, trying to tell her to keep calm. She would have pressed her arm or something similar to help deliver the message, but her left hand was busy with Soyeon's head and her right hand had been busy rolling the bells in her hands since she had noticed the spears of ice forming. The soft ringing as the bells rolled in the palm of Kagerou's hand was unobtrusive, a background noise at best, but it was oddly clear in this oddly windless air Kagerou, Soyeon, and Nohea rested in, surrounded by trees that rustled in the breeze.

In the blink of an eye, or a flick of the wrist in Reiji's case, that breeze harmlessly rustling the trees was no longer so harmless. A gust shot out from Kagerou's hands, expanding in all direction to culminate in a gigantic waterspout that spawned into existence around the two children and one adult to protect them from the array of icicles, the calm eye of the storm alone easily measuring 50' in diameter. Icicles crashed into the wall of water driven by wind, eroded away by what was essentially a whirlpool over dry land. What wasn't battered down was deflected harmlessly to the outsides. When the wind died down, the three ladies remained unharmed and dry in the center of a flooded and wind torn landscape, and Kagerou's voice could be heard praising Nohea, "An excellent defense, Nohea." Complicated in it’s creation the user will shot forward a gust of air, forming a tornado capable of taking on effects from another elemental chakra nature or a naturally occurring instance of them. If the user has the corresponding chakra nature then they may impart it upon the tornado’s creation, alternatively the user may also spend the chakra cost of an opposing technique in order to consume it within the tornado and grant it whatever element the absorbed technique had. This technique requires two attack activations but is treated as an S ranked attacked followed immediately after with another S ranked attack. When combined the tornado itself gains all the elemental weaknesses, strengths, and counterbalancing of both elements.
- Suiton: If the tornado hits a body of water a massive whirlpool-like tornado is sent towards the victim. When it hits the ground or target a large flood is sent forward capable of crushing or drowning those hit.
- Katon: If the tornado hits a fire it picks up the flames and shoots forward towards the victim. If it hits the ground or target an explosion occurs, leaving a large fire in its wake.
- Raiton: If the tornado absorbs electricity it turns gray, and lightning begins arcing across its surface. Once it impacts the ground or target the lightning discharges across a wide area.
