Name: B’jor formerly Bejori
Age: 32
Nameday: 3544.06.06
Sex: Male
Sexual Orientation: B’jor really doesn’t think about, he just “likes who he likes”
Weyr: Western Weyr
Rider Rank: Wingrider
Previous Rank/Craft: Beastcrafter
Physical Description: Much like his dragon, B'jor is incredibly tall and well muscled. Quite a few need to look up when speaking to B'jor, or may feel more comfortable if the rider is sitting to address them. His face is square emphasized by a strong jawline, a slightly upturned nose sits in the middle. He has a beard he’s slowly growing long, it curls slightly towards the end. B’jor’s eyes are a light gray with heavy brows above them.

He has long sandy hair, braided and tied down the middle - preferring to keep the sides of his head shaved close to his scalp. His lightly tanned skin is covered in calluses and scars, he shows the wear and tear of a physical job - even more so now that Thread has started to fall on Pern. In theadfall both he and Mesikath sustained significant injuries. B’jor walks with a stick or cane, compensating for a badly scored leg. He favors his left side, and finds the ache terrible when the weather changes.

Personality: B’jor is a mix of an adventurous spirit and a go-with-the-flow attitude. B’jor lets the wind take him places much like his father. He's the happiest when he’s visiting interesting places in his spare time. He finds himself restless if he's in the same place for too long without any kind of respite, even if it's just finding a quiet spot in a patch of wilderness.

He's happy to deal with things as they come. B'jor has no mind for ambition. He's not interested in leading, or making some sort of enormous mark on things. He's content to do see new interesting things and do his part.

B’jor, while a solitary sort, is incredibly socially aware. He is aware of how he comes across, and how to read a situation so he won’t make a fool out of himself. He prefers his and Mesikath’s own company, finding most other people exhausted. The only exception is with his close loved ones.

B'jor is a man with a long fuse. He isn't easy to anger and if something ruffles him it's for good reason. He's adverse to conflict, to the dismay of Mesikath who tries now and again to get a rise out of him. B'jor can sometimes be far too closed off. He keeps his boundaries drawn rather clearly, preferring to keep his private life to himself. He's overly cautious with strangers, finding it hard to let people in.

Positive Trait List Unruffled, Long Fuse, Gentle
Negative Trait List Reserved, Cautious, Restless

History: Much of B’jor’s early life is uneventful. His mother died in child birth at High Reaches, and only bestowed him his name. Privately he thinks was meant for a daughter. He raised by creche when he was old enough. He finds this as no great personal tragedy or something to overcome. It happened far before B'jor could remember, feeling it strange to be sad about. He does however, holds the stories he's told of her close to his heart. His father Wa’ren saw him when he could in their own travels, even if it wasn't that often. They exchanged letters often, and B'jor feels a kinship to them even in their physical absence growing up. He never felt without his father's support, and still finds himself drafting a letter when he needs his advice.

At 15 turns, B'jor impressed to Mesikath at clutch open for swap at Western. It was one of the first clutches he stood for, expecting to go back home to High Reaches. An aggressive brown stood before B'jor with ichor-stained claws, eyes slowly losing their red tinge. B’jor seemed strong enough, according to Mesikath, and together they would take the world by storm.

B'jor took time to learn Beastcraft in the time before Thread. He worked as a shepherd, enjoying the work he did outdoors. He preferred the open spaces and quiet of the word he did. Even if he misses it immensely, the threat of Thread looming over Pern called him back to Western. The Weyr where his dragon was born, and the more democratic leaning made B’jor choose to stay.

During one of their first Threadfalls, Mesikath’s slower maneuverability in the air caused painful score down his face and eye. He was temporarily grounded for some time, and had to learn to compensate for his blind side. Mesikath begrudgingly had to learn patience through healing and to rely on others when he wished to do for himself. After being cleared to fly again, Mesikath started pushing himself hard in drills, fearful for another heavy injury. For once Mesikath's stubborn nature working in his favor. They reside still at Western, taking the fight against Thread rather seriously.

Other: With permission, B’jor is one of the sons of Wa’ren.

DRAGON
Name: Mesikath
Age: 17
Color: Brown
Size: 42’
Physical Description: Mesikath is a noticeably large, brown dragon. He pushes the limits on size, and has a sheer bulk to him that adds to the illusion of he’s much larger than he truly is. He holds himself very still, keeping his head held prod and high. Mesikath isn’t a dragon to move without purpose, and rarely ever fidgets. He’d hate be seen as immature in any sort of way.

He slopes his shoulders and flares his large wings whenever he feels like throwing his weight around. Mesikath cuts an intimidating portrait. He is well muscled dragon, shaped more like a battletank than a flying beast. His limbs are thick and nearly rounded. His tail is more akin to a treebranch.

He has a rounded, wedge shaped head. His head knobs are small, and nearly rounded atop his head. Mesikath is barrel chested with a slightly rounded belly. He is a powerful flyer, using his brute strength to move quickly in one direction. He is far less adept at tight turns, and quick maneuvers. It was this slow reactivity that caused him to lose his left eye in threadfall. He was downed for quite a while to make sure he was perfectly healed, he is more cautious in threadfall as a result.

Personality: Mesikath is an aggressive dragon whose saving grace is B’jor’s more placid nature. He is spiteful to the point of arrogance, feeling that nothing can happen to him and no one knows any bit better than he does for himself. He was a terror in weyrling classes trying to do things that were out of his skills capacity - and it is some how a miracle that pair only escaped with remedial classes rather than scars. Mesikath has had a hard reality check being temporarily grounded healing the threadscore to his eye and head. He had to come to terms with the fact that he is not in anyway invincible, and he can not contend with Thread with the sheer force of his stubbornness.

He is more sociable than one would imagine. He has no issue in collecting friends, particularly those with less willful personalities so he may throw his weight around. So long as he feels someone is weaker than himself, he gets along with them fabulously. He has a soft spot for those who are vulnerable using his pugnacious attitude to give others a sense of safety - by having someone aggressive and frightening on their side so to speak. Mesikath is remarkably possessive over them, and frequently needs reminded to loosen his grip now and again.

B’jor’s own nature helps to temper the wildstreak in this brown. Mesikath impressed to B’jor thinking own desire and strength would push them both to greatness. B’jor was one that he could not simply cow into doing as he pleased. Instead the quiet thoughtful nature of his bonded helps put a halt into this wildfire before it blazes out of control. It gives this dragon gentler, contemplative moments. B’jor pushes him to have more an appreciation over his loved ones.

Can you just edit B'jor's history a little bit at the beginning? It looks like something was taken out or something else added, or something. Big empty space, followed by "Mother at High Reaches" where it doesn't make total sense for that to be.

Otherwise he reads just fine!

Sorry about that! Google docs seems to have had a hiccup when I was editing. It should be all set now :3
