Asuna and the girls were busy talking about a new duelist named Zekken while Kirito slept like a champ in the log cabin that was Kirito's and Asuna's.

Asuna realizes that some other guild has been cheating off of the guild that she is in with Yuuki aka Zekken. Just before they were about to bite off more they could chew, Kirito shows up.

Episode 21
Asuna and the sleeping knights beat the boss on floor 27 of Aincrad, thus getting their names on a plaque for doing something awesome. But then, Asuna points out to Yuki that Yuuki called Asuna sis twice, thus revealing that Yuuki has a secret that she isn't willing to share.

Episode 22
Asuna went looking for Yuuki, and thanks to Kirito, she found her. The doctor told Asuna that Yuuki was dying of AIDS and that she has a limited time to live. And Yuuki met Asuna one last time in Alfheim to tell her everything.

After touring with Yuuki on her shoulder through a portable device, Asuna shows her mom the virtual world Alfheim and tells her a story, which convinces her mom to let Asuna do what she wants for now so long as she works hard toward her goal.

Final episode
Yuuki eventually dies, but she gives everyone a special gift as she does so. She will always be remembered.
