A rather well off establishment in a grimier part of Astoria. Cheap beds and cheap booze kept all sorts of people coming back for more. This is where both of Belamos' progeny would meet once again. A bartender cleaned a glass at his spot behind the counter. A couple customers sat in booths. It was late and quiet.
Haji's body ached, he'd been traveling since the battle at Tanigakure. He was trying his damndest to find out just where Arashi was at. His first stop of course was Astoria, that's where he'd left the village and that's the last place the floating city was seen to his knowledge. But for now the ninja needed to rest. He stopped in the dark streets, looking around. The name 'The Deft Hand' lit up his eye's. Its ornate neon sign screaming its name at him and different neon lights for different brands of booze sat in the windows of the establishment. He'd head on in, hoping to grab a small bite to eat and some lodging. Who knows what he might find inside.

Across the bar, seated at one of the many stools would be a mess of platinum white hair, alcohol bottles and what was hopefully a puddle of water on the bar would sit the last remaining Karna and daughter of the warrior himself, Aurelia Karna. It wasn't exactly the most befitting image for a princess: disheveled hair, empty bottles surrounding her, a stale scent near her location as if he hadn't had showered that day. Hajime might have not even noticed her when he came in since her trademark hair had been all but erased by the might blast almost a full year ago. A few tears hit the counter again as she hadn't heard the newest customer enter and took the moment to instead, raise her drink to the barkeep and chug it again as it became filled. After wiping her reddened eyes and make up away, Aurelia spun around to face the door as she thought of returning to her empty home again. Then going to her room as the bustling home had become quiet and staring at the ceiling, just...thinking. Remembering.
That was, until she would spot Hajime near the entrance. The waterworks that had once ceased would begin anew as her dry throat creaked to speak his name under the weight of what was a mixture of guilt and depression. She approached and said nothing, seizing up while Aurelia's chest would wheeze out and try to find the words in her heart. "Uh-Uncle....""

Before the word even uttered out of her mouth he had his arms around the smaller girl. Though not by blood, Aurellia was his niece. He was the Disciple of Belamos Karna and considered him like his own father. He took him from the land of water and trained him to be a ninja. Hajime took a deep gulp, he had a hold of the back of her head. His fingers tangled in that soft white hair. "A-Aurellia...what has happened. Your hair, where's Nohea!? Why are you even drinking???"
xXx All the questions poured out, but something hurt in his heart. This young girl wouldn't have ever been caught dead in a place like this, let alone drinking and crying. His heart was seizing up, like it had in Tanigakure, when the samurai attacked. Something was awfully wrong. He'd pull back, his hands gripping her shoulders to look the poor child in her eyes. "You don't have to tell me here, wait a moment and I can get us a room, okay?" He'd ask, waiting for her response, he refused to leave her side unless she said it was okay. As a man, he couldn't stand to see a woman cry in such a way. As one who's called uncle, his heart was in immense pain. He'd see to it that she would recover, from what ever has transpired since Haji' last saw her.

His embrace was the first of which she had felt for a long time. Aurelia's body just fell in on itself as Hajime wrapped his arms around her. Shaky legs gave way and leaned on him for support as the tears flowed down her cheeks once again. Her throat denied any words passage outside while a series of whimpers was all that could be heard from the once smiling face. She squeeze him tight and took a few seconds to find the words floating around inside of the tipsy, pounding blonde head of hers. "G-Gone. They're all gone..." she said after a while. "Dad, Nohea, Sonyo, all gone." They didn't move though Aurelia would shake her head. She didn't want to sleep now but just finally unleash this torrent of emotion she had bottled up for the past few months. And so, the girl could only speak about the happenings since their last meeting. How Nohea and her had seen the world after leaving. They had grown a lot in numerous ways, alongside that first night they shared together. But among that was the story of Belamos. How Utu, the god of the sun, had been slain while the skies turned dark. Belamos, along with numerous others, had done battle in the Crow Lands. The two of them arrived just as their father would wish them well and then sacrifice himself to take his father's place and end the spread of endless night to the world. Her face during this was as red as before, pausing several times to console herself before continuing on. Then came the story about Nohea. How she had waken up one day to find out she had gone without waking her. With no way of communicating or really notifying her of what happened, Aurelia had feared the worst for her friend.

xXx Hajime kept the girl aloft, not letting her fall. His arms keeping the smaller one up. Her tears soaked into his shirt, the hand that was tangled in that white hair, moved to gently stroke the back of her head. Doing his best to comfort the distraught Aurellia. However, their words shocked him to his core. "G-Gone? All of them? Belamos..." He bit back the pain, biting the inside of his cheek to keep a straight face. He half expected for Arashi to be blown out of the sky, so none of this helped his own mental well being.
xXx Haji' watched her say no to a room, his cyan eyes were locked on those crimson orbs of hers. Determined to see her through the other side of this trauma. Her voice spoke up and he listened, keeping her close and biting back any pain he might have felt. "That's what happened...I'm sorry I couldn't be there to fight by his side. I was trying to master my Sage training..." He was still bitter and hurt. He'd failed and the dogs sent him away. He remembered that day, he didn't know what had happened. Everytime the girl would stop he'd gently console her. Petting Aurellia, or telling her everything was gonna be okay. Then he heard how Nohea just left and flames seemed to sprout in his eyes. His hands would move to her shoulders. "She...just left...abandoned you? After all that?" He was trembling, squeezing ever harder. He was about to lose his top. With a deep breath Hajime calmed down, his grip lessened and he pulled her into a tight embrace, almost a bear hug. His nose burried into her hair as he kept the young one close. "You're coming with me back to Arashi, okay? We'll talk to Toso-Kage, we'll both get past this..." She couldn't see it, but his own tears were streaking down that face of his. Belamos died a hero. He was equally proud, as much as he was devastated. Haji' dared not make a peep, but cried in the silence of that empty bar. His own tears staining the white hair on her head, like she'd stained his shirt.
