Behind Sumika iron sand swirled as the puppet Vogel attempted unsuccessfully to move farther into the tunnel. While the sand shifted over her form and that of the centipedes, it was incapable of removing them. A miscalculation in the use of her resources perhaps? The clearing sand revealed that mop of platinum hair hanging forlornly over the face of the puppeteer as her opponent finally stepped from the shadows. The gloating was well earned, but it'd be returned in what was likely an unexpected manner. Behind Vogel Sumika's fingers twitched and Sumiko's head snapped up, mouth open. "SEEING YOU TIED UP IS... MAGNIFICEEEEEEEEEENT." Luckily for Sumika, Vogel was still capable of providing movement for her jutsu. Careful timing with the sand that appeared to attempt to save her, and Sumiko's resemblance to herself allowed for a fairly seamless switch. The b*****d's big mouth provided the ammunition. The result was a concentrated blast of sound, more than capable of killing the gropey b*****d. Not like she cared if she broke all his bones, considering she'd be painstakingly replacing all of them anyways. For now she was safe behind Vogel, regardless of what he did. The two puppets would likely have a hard time with the explosion, but the resulting chaos would only favor the sage and her sensory abilities.

โ–ฐ Mechanism Description: A strange contraption devised using jitonโ€™s magnetization techniques as part of a sound amplification system, overdriving it to ear splitting levels. A pair of microphones pick up sounds much like ears might, transitioning them into a signal that is then reproduced through a conical speaker. The result is a tightly directed shockwave of sound, capable of causing significant damage through raw force in a tight cone. The range of this technique is compound in its area of effect, hitting anyone within 10ft of 180 degree arc in front of the speaker and projecting a cone that grows to 15ft in size up to 100ft away. Activating the mechanism causes it to remain active for an upkeep cost a rank lower than it was activated at, and will produce sound independently provided more sound was made by other actors in the area that could reasonably be considered to have been picked up by it. Oddly, this mechanism is also capable of producing the volumes that one might expect from a normal PA speaker for nominal amounts of chakra, but nothing in between, calling into question its creatorโ€™s fundamental grasp of the physics involved. Sound may also be provided through the puppeteerโ€™s chakra strings as a signal for 20 chakra when the mechanism is operating at ranked outputs.
