Blood splashed across the snow covered grass beneath a figure standing above a field of bodies. His hair short, brown, his eyes dark and empty. Five sheaths strapped to his waist. Four blades in the sheathes and a single blade in his hand. Blood dripping from the blade as he held the point down. "You can come back out now." The single other standing figure fell as he said this, swinging his blade quickly to fling the red ichor from the steel before sheathing his blade again. From seemingly nowhere appeared another form, a much smaller form. Female, blonde hair and a scar that seemed to span from the top of her head down to her neck and perhaps even further down. The scar passing one of her eyes which was glazed over and a small frown on her face. "Y-Yes Sir!?" The young looking girl spoke up, looking around. She didn't seem bothered. However the man looked at her. "Did you catch any of what I did?" He asked her, seeming to get a response of rapid nodding. "Good." He said to her, kneeling down over the body that just fell. "Why did I attack this one the way I did?" He asked her. She would almost immediately respond. "He seemed to focus a lot on his right side, and was aggressively attacking high as if going for your throat. So you struck him the opposite side and low where he would be less able to react." She explained, which the short haired man would smile and nod to her. "Good Job. Next One." He said to her, quickly moving to one slightly different.

A much larger form, lay dead. Legs separated from the body, and head removed just as well. The girl would come over and immediately begin to talk. "Oh! He's really big...so you cut his legs off to hinder his movement cause it'd take him longer to reach his lower half for defending. Samurai don't often kick at an opponent so it was unlikely you'd worry about that! Then with his legs gone you just went for the easy guaranteed kill." As she spoke the man nodded in approval. "Good Job." He said to her, placing a hand on her head and patting to give her a sign of approval. "Last One" He said, standing straight taking a deep breath. Closing his eyes and then exhaling. "Figure out what's wrong here." He said to her, to which she seemed confused. She frowned as she looked around, looking at each of the bodies laying on the ground. She seemed like she didn't know what the man was talking about.

The man shook his head, then quickly within a mere moment his blade was suddenly in his hand, and within the next moment it was again back in it's sheath. Slightly off in the distance a figure fell to the ground, sliced in half and no longer alive as well. "Sometimes, they try to escape. Letting them is never the best thing. Always sniff out those who are hiding." He said to her, to which she would respond by nodding profusely. "Now, we should head off. We have a few more things we must do." He said beginning to walk away from the snow covered field of dead bodies with the young girl who seemed to be his student following after him.

"Do you know how to address the Shogun when you return from a mission?" He asked the girl following behind him still. Turning his head to look at her to make sure she would answer knowing that she didn't talk a lot. It seemed she noticed he was looking back just before speaking, she shook her head to note that she did not know. The man would stop causing the girl to also stop. He would turn towards her and look at her. "As a Samurai, your greeting must be specific. You must bring yourself to your knees, place you hands on your thighs and respectfully bow before standing while greeting your shogun." He said to her, standing and watching...waiting for her to try exactly that. She would do it....seemingly perfectly. She learned very quickly from what he could tell, it was no wonder they assigned him to teach her. He considered himself the best instructor and so did many of the others. Beyond that it seemed that having such a fast learner....the best teacher and the best student would be a fearsome combination later in life. She stood, looking towards her teacher and smiling. "Did I do it right?" She asked, to which he nodded in approval.

Of course he wasn't done there, she thought they might have been. It was all she needed to know after all. However instead the man would hold his hand out as if telling her to wait. "This won't come up anytime soon, however if you ever are invited to the Shogun's office for an audience as a guest you must greet him differently. Often times you will be expected to wear noble-like clothing. This is much simpler though. Instead of coming to your knees and bowing you will place your palms against each other and in front of your chest and then bow slightly." He explained to her, and she would begin to do the motions he explained as she listened. He was right it was easy enough. Not a lot to learn and retain there, even simpler than the other greeting which seemed like it was simple itself as well. He smiled at her and nodded once more. This time she seemed to wait, as if he might have something else to explain and teach her. However it was nothing this time....nothing at all. He turned and began to walk once more and she began to follow.

It wasn't long before they were both finally returning into Zaishin. Walking through the gates and heading towards the Shogun's Office. Of course they got stares from the other citizens, they were far from the most liked of people. Sure they were warriors of Zaishin, but their origins were based in a darkness that many of the people of Zaishin didn't like. One that some people wished to erase from their history. That didn't matter to the man, nor did it matter to his student. They were proud of who and what they were, they took their jobs seriously. They knew what they were here to do, they knew why they were here to do it. They knew why they were made. It took a while of walking before they finally reached the Shogun's place. Walking through the doors and into the office itself where the Shogun sat. Samurai lining the walls, Monks alongside some of them and along side the Shogun himself. The teacher and student did exactly as the teacher had taught earlier. Greeting their Shogun with respect before standing. "The rogue samurai have been taken down, the large group put up a fight but has been eradicated. I'm unsure if there are other groups or if other groups may arise however." The man explained, the woman staying quiet and standing there.

Conversation went on for a short time. It was a lot of variety in the situation they were in. Yokai, Rogue Samurai, Other such groups not aligned with Zaishin yet sitting within the land of iron. Taking up their space. The conversation would end with the teacher giving more words to the Shogun. "I will hunt them all for you my Shogun. Worry Not." However this encounter did not end the way it was expected to. The Shogun's words stung his ears and his heart. "You will be doing nothing anymore....you will be erased from our history." He said. The man quickly turned, but it was too late. His student had her hand on the hilt of her blade. She was ready to strike however she couldn't. She was already impaled, and the other warriors and priests began to make their way towards the man as well. The samurai who pierced the student would quickly find his head missing, and then a mixture of swirling salt and miasma shrouded the teacher and his impaled student. He knelt by her, a frown on his face. "I have...one more lesson for you. Do not be afraid of death, be afraid you will not be avenged....but do not be afraid of that...I will avenge you." He said to her, a single tear falling from his face onto her hand as life slowly began to fade from her.

"I will..." His voice came from the miasma and swirling salts. That would suddenly be gone. His hand removing the blade from his student's sheath. Taking a deep breath, as he removed on of his sheathed blades and replaced it with his student's blade. Grasping the exact same blade in his hand. Exhaling what seemed almost like electricity. It seemed the shogun himself notice...but it was only the shogun. "Wait!" The shogun shouted, but it was too late. As the shogun tried to stand from his seat to quickly assist it didn't matter. The man....the teacher who's student was just murdered....betrayed was gone. What one might have mistaken for lightning bouncing around the room was actually the man himself. Each movement he cleaved through samurai, priest, monk, and whoever else was in the room close enough for him to attack. Then finally....the Shogun's head was removed from it's place on his neck. The man stopped moving while behind the shogun and looked at the bloody onslaught that happened. "You should be erased from history..." He said, before walking out of the office. Grabbing his student's body and leaving as quickly as he had come.

What happened after that to Zaishin? Well...they erased them from history. No one knew of the experiments anymore. No one knew of the Shogun or his entourage of betraying murderers. The new shogun made sure of it. The man...the teacher with a dead student made his way out into the land of iron. Burying his student's body and honoring her as his best and only student. He knew now though...holding her blade he knew her suffering. How her suffering was released from her as she died. How he adopted her suffering by taking her blade. Her soul could be at rest because of him....He hated Zaishin. They made these people, there people that suffered consistently. A suffering that could only be taken away by him...and so before he could truly take down Zaishin...cause chaos to the place that deserved it the most...he had another mission. He needed to find the other experiments...he had to liberate them from their suffering. He had to take their suffering upon himself and release them from this life for their own good. He could feel it...his student's soul wishing for this. He could hear it...the others calling to him for their release.
