After parting from the officer and the group of people he met Elroe found himself wandering once more. It wasn't much like he had plans or anything, as he said before to the group he was with. He was just wandering, everything after that was a coincidence. It was easy enough to reach these conclusions, that being said Elroe needed to do some training. As he walked he would reach out placing his hand on the concrete of a building. His body shifted turning to stone for a moment before he moved on along. Well...that was easy enough right? He didn't have much else in store for this, he supposed the next step was liquid, that wouldn't be that hard at least. The monotonous speaking, apathetic boy would find himself heading to one of the small places which has a source of water. Of course water was simply the easiest and quickest thing he could get. Placing his hand in the water chakra would begin to travel into the water. Then travelling back towards him. His body shifted a bit, turning into that of water for a moment. Then he would turn back and move on. He didn't like the feeling of his entire body being turned into these things. It sort of worried him, although he didn't show such worries on the outside. He supposed it was fine for now, he could easily just only use part of his body and that would solve his personal issue. That being said he would head off into the distance.

It didn't take long for him to think about it. He could turn into solids by touching them which was easy enough. Turning the body into something that was sort of a natural state made sense. Then the liquids was also something that made sense to him. The body was made of water, using chakra as well as another water source to take that to another level was easy enough. However as he thought more about it he realized that the next logical step would be turning into gaseous form. That would be...difficult to say the least and scary. While being solid he could be broken for lack of a better term, it was also harder to break. Not much different than if he were in a normal form anyways. Being a liquid was perhaps only scary in certain situations, it is hard to get rid of water so to speak. Evaporating it or freezing it probably would make sense however with constant chakra flow and protecting yourself it became much more difficult of a task. Gases though? He could probably easily float away on accident if not focused, maybe even explode from flames if he became the wrong thing. He wasn't some genius, but he knew what he needed to know based on prior training so to speak. Then even after all this is there another step? There were many states of matter so to speak but could he become something normally inaccessible to be touched? Chakra was unique in that it was capable of a lot of different effects but that didn't mean it could do everything...or could it? Elroe knew his capabilities well, but that didn't matter unless he proved it to himself.

Come to think of it he had been walking around for a while not even paying attention to his surroundings. He looked up for a moment to find himself in a more industrial district. Elroe thought about it and nodded. It was a coincidence for sure, however it was like what he was thinking about was telling him to just try it. A place such as this surely had what he needed to test out his theories and knowledge involving the forms he could take. It could be dangerous but that was also fine. It wasn't like he wasn't use to doing dangerous things...at least that's how he felt anyways. None-the-less he would head off to a smokestack, choosing to avoid the people at work while he tested things. Of course that just meant he was being polite to them as far as he was concerned. Hand outstretched into the smoke chakra moving and causing his arm to turn into a smoke like substance. He could keep it's shape with chakra but as he would allow his chakra control to waver the smoke he was made of found itself rising into the air. Turning his arm back to normal was easy enough as well which made him wonder though...how would that work as far as flames went? Making his way along he would find a forge that was left for a moment it seemed. Figuring that a moment of use of the forge would not be a big deal the young man would make his way over to the forge. He would focus, chakra first as not to burn himself and then place his hand within the flames. His body shifted and without additional chakra being used his body simple flared around much like that of a normal flame. Applying chakra allowed him to take form and move around so thinking about it...how else would this work? That being said, Elroe would turn back to normal for now. He had much more to test with this ability...but for now he would begin wandering once more.
