I do graphic design once and awhile...I'm not incredibly inspired but I try.
Also, I don't believe in using things that are only available to a certain browser..and I don't like cluttering things up or using flash.
I like really simple, easy to navigate stuff.

The simpler it is, the more someone will want to stick around.
Flash bugs me because it runs horridly on my computer and it's being so horribly overused lately.
And I dislike those who code to IE standard and not *web* standard.
By using things only viewable properly in IE, you are killing a big portion of your audience. I use mozilla and opera and I've run into many pages I cannot view.
Since I've uninstalled IE and will never re-install it, I just leave that page and never come back.

Anyways, I've got a few things.
My websites have been horridly crappy lately, but at the same time I still like them.

Tsumi Project -> http://www.brainwhacker.com/tsumi/
Super quick page for our translation of Persona: Innocent Sin that we are working on. I'm probably going to be changing it and taking out the text on the bottom, but for now this is what it is.

Cidsa's Scanlations -> http://www.gamingotaku.com/cidsa/
Another quick page for my scanlations. This was done quickly because someone wanted me to have a page up before donating scans.
There isn't much content at all really, I still have to work on that ^^;

My livejournal -> http://www.livejournal.com/users/cidsa/
I have to admit I didn't do a lot on this one, but I tried XD

Deviantart -> http://cidsa.deviantart.com/
http://cidsaspixels.deviantart.com/
This is my deviantart page, I obviously didn't design the site but all my art is on these pages.

Obsessions -> http://www.freewebs.com/cidsa/
This was going to be my personal website. However, freewebs sucks and I didn't want to continue with this site at this time.
This one I coded to IE standard and didn't bother to change it over. This is probably the most complicated one I've done..however it's dead now.

I'm working on making some nicer webpages, but I've just been lazy and uninspired.
Also most of this stuff was done in about an hour due to being in a hurry.

I'm thinking of making a bunch of layouts without any content just for the hell of it.
I've got some old webpages I might upload sometime as well.

I definitely agree on the browser compatibility issue - especially for something like a small business, that can't afford to lose any customers due to them using a non IE browser.

That being said, I've only recently come to realise this sweatdrop I still haven't gotten around to making my personal site compatible across browsers. I did however make sure that the site I made for my kung fu school worked fine in different browsers, and on Macs, and that it was up to W3C (I think thats what it is...) standards.

Simplicity is cool... but interesting effects can work well too, as long as care is taken that they're not gaudy (like a lot of people who shove every animated gif and javascript they have on a site xp )

I like using Flash, but I agree, there are times when it definitely isn't appropriate. I'd say it only works for graphic/web design portfolios (because most employers in that field would have the player), Flash animators/developers (to show off their craft), and big companies (because they can afford to lose customers due to availability issues).

Sorry I haven't commented on your sites at all, but my internet is going crazy at the moment, and things are all loading slowly or not at all xp I'll come back and take a look at them later 3nodding
