Ayame smiled, feeling happy for Rayna and Andi. She felt something though, like a small twinge of jealousy. She shook her head, trying not to mind. She was curious about what time it was, so she asked quietly, "What time is it?" It kind of seemed like an odd question to ask at a party, but ayame couldnt read a clock, and she wanted to be sure of what time she had to leave. Well, more like "poof". It was quite strange.

 

[The Razz]

Rayna looked up to Ayame, tilting her head to the side. Kylie, who was sitting and watching everyone, looked down at her small, black wristwatch. "Just near 3:30. Why, Ayame?" she asked. Andi whirled around, locket in hand. She quickly ran over, sitting next to her once more. "You don't have to leave, do you? Can't your Mommy and sissy come here?" she asked. "The more the better!" she added, raising her arms in the air and laughing. "We'd be happy to have your mom and sister, Ayame." Rayna said, smiling down at the two. Charlie and Kylie nodded, smiling. Rayna had been wanting to meet Ayame's mother- Kylie had once told her that they had met at the nightclub.

Ayame wondered if her mommy could come. She pondered on the subject for a moment, then she stopped. "Kay!" She said happily. Sora had been trying to teach Ayame the little "poofing" trick, and Ayame believed that she had it down. Ayame put her hands out in front of her, curious how it would end up, because she didn't use magic very often. "Concentrate.... concentrate..." She said to herself quietly, her eyes closed, as if scanning the school for her mother and sister. There was a long pause untill Ayame suddenly exclaimed, "I found 'em!"

Ayame's brows furrowed as she continued to focus. Poof! And so, Sora and Hikari appeared, curious as to what happened.

"Ayame-chan?" Hikari asked nervously. The twin was completely confused, and she looked around, spotting Andi. "Hello!" She said excitedly.

Sora looked at Ayame curiously, who just stared curiously back. Sora gave Ayame a big hug, very excited. She finally learned how to use it! "Good job, Ayame!" She said happily. She then saw Rayna, the girl from the night club, Kylie, she believed, and Charlie. She got up, holding her hand out to Rayna. "I'm Sora Yamanaka. Pleased to meet you." She laughed a little, "Ayame has told me much about you and your daughter."

Andi gasped in awe when Sora and Hikari poofed into the room. She bounced up and down, clapping her hands. "Nyaah, that was so cool, Ayame-chan!" she squealed, beaming. She looked over at who was obviously Ayame's twin and smiled, extending her hand. "Hi! I'm Andi! What's your name?" she asked kindly, tilting her head to the side, one of her fox ears twitching as her tail swished behind her. Rayna looked over to Sora, smiling as she took the girl's hand and shook it, nodding. "Good things, I hope." she said, laughing a little. "Glad to meet you. I'm Rayna. You have a very nice daughter." she added, smiling at Sora. Kylie walked up to the two of them, smiling. "Hello, there!" she said, waving at bit at Sora. "Gald you could make it!"

Ayame smiled, feeling proud of her new trick. She looked up at her mom, then back at Andi, who was getting aqquainted with Hikari. she wasn't sure was to do at that moment except giggle.

Sora nodded, laughing a little as well. "Many good things. And yes, Ayame is a bit shy, but great when you get to know her." She looked at Kylie and smiled. "Hello, Kylie! How are you?" she asked. She remembered Kylie! Sora remembered her from the night club.

Hikari shook Andi's hand and smiled wide. "I'm Hikari! Nice to meet you Andi!" She replie excitedly. She loved meeting new people and becoming friends with them. It was fun!

Kylie smiled, nodding. "Hello, Miss Sora! I'm fine, thank you. What about you?" she asked. Andi smiled, looking over at Ayame. "It must be so cool to have a twin..." she sighed. Just then, Charlie came up behind Andi, picking her up by the sides. She squealed, kicking her legs a bit and giggling. "Yarr! I've got me an Andi!" he said, laughing. "Oh, no! It's the Char-Monster!" she squealed. Charlie grinned, picking up the two girls in each arm, twirling around. "I'm gonna eat ya! Rawrr!" he said. Rayna looked over at the four of them, laughing. She then looked back to Sora, shrugging. "Don't worry- he won't hurt anyone. He's like a big brother." she told her. Kylie grinned. "Not to Miss Rayna." she said, earning a light punch in the arm from a red Rayna.

Ayame squealed happily, enjoying being spun around by Charlie. Overhearing the other adult's conversation, she thought about it. Charlie was kind of like a big brother. She had never had a big brother she knew of. Ayame giggled and squealed "Yay! Hee-hee! No, don't eat--" Ayame paused, a gruesome flashback popping into her head.

"N-No! Stop it!" the 3 year old Ayame cried, people dying in front of her very eyes. She spotted a large demon, it's blood-red eyes staring right into her own. It beared it's fangs, it's grey, zombie-like skin adding more to the frightening sight. "Foolish girl..." It hissed, as she looked towards her real mother lie dead in a pool of blood.

Her happy expression quickly turned into a horrified one, and she started to cry uncontrollably. "N-No! I want down!" She wailed.

Hikari looked at her sister, who suddenly became afraid. She was having fun untill Ayame completely flipped. "A-Ayame?" She asked nervously.

Sora looked back at Ayame and Hikari, delving into Ayame's mind. She gasped as she witnessed the horrible sight. No wonder Ayame got scared. Sora would probably be scared to, if she was in Ayame's position.

 

[The Razz]

Rayna plopped down on her large bed and closed her eyes, sighing. She reached for her long ponytail, grabbing the rubber band that held it up and slowly pulling it out, letting her hair free. She rolled over onto her stomach and relaxed on her bed. Lately, she had been playing with Andi, watching over her, feeding, her...basically, just being a mother to her. And quite frankly, she was worn out. Of course, she'd have to do this later on in life, but she was only fourteen- she wasn't supposed to act like a mother yet. And now that she thought about it...she didn't want to know her future early. She wanted it to be unexpected. 'It's a bit too late, now....I already know there's going to be a war, I'm gonna have a ki and Charlie's going to be....' she stopped the thought, turning a bright pink. She still hadn't talked to Charlie at all and made up for how she reacted. Rayna sighed again, hitting her head on the pillow. 'I feel horrible.' she said mentally.

Right when she was about to drift into a light sleep, the door opened and Andi ran inside. She jumped onto the bed, right next to her future mother and grinned widely. "Hi, Mommy!" she said happily. Rayna winced, smiling. "Hey, Andi..." she said to the energetic young girl. Kylie stood, leaning on the doorway, an apologetic look on her face. "I'm so sorry. She wanted to come back here." she said. Rayna sighed, pushing herself up and flipping over on her back. "No, Kylie, it's no problem. Thanks for babysitting." she said, yawning. Kylie smiled nervously, walking over and sitting on the bed. Andi was jumping on the bed, humming and giggling. "Andi, no jumping." Rayna said sternly, making Andi plop down on her bottom.

The campus of what looked like a large school was vast, and empty. Trees were scattered here and there, and a lake sat nearby on one side, while the forest's edge sat on the other. The sky was cloudy, and the air seemed tense. Two people could be seen on the grassy campus. One was Rayna, when her hair was straight, and her fox ears wrere still an orange-ish color, as was her tail. She was barefoot, and was clad in black shorts that went just above mid-thigh, and a form-fitting, red tank top. Her hair was put up in a long braid, and she looked as if she were sweating a bit. After all, she had been training not but a few minutes ago. Something looked different about Rayna, though. She had fur, a reddish brown color. Her nails were coal-black claws, and from her mouth protruded yellow fangs. Her eyes, which were usually a dark, ocean blue, were now a reddish color.

The other person was a man. He had pitch black hair and his eyes were like coal, piercing into Rayna's , with pale skin that you wouldn't believe. He was adorned in a black cloak with dark red interior that blew in the breeze that swept by, black shirt and pants, and large, dark boots. He looked to be in his late thirties, and looked to be about a head and a half taller than Rayna. This man, as Rayna knew, was the one who killed her family. Ronin Nasai. Rayna glared at him, her fists clenched as she waited for him to say or do something.

All of a sudden, two women appeared. One was very beautiful, with long, red hair like Rayna's and blood red eyes. Dark maroon fox ears protruded from her head, and her make-up made her even more radient. But instead of the usual garments Rayna usually saw her in, she was adorned in a long, black cloak. And her facial expression was glum, if anything. Her eyes were half open, and pointed to the ground. The other woman had short, black hair, and extremely pale skin. Her eyes were golden, and soft, black, furry cat ears sat on top of her head. She too was very beautiful, but had the same facial expression as the first one. Suddenly, two other people appeared, also in black cloaks. They were Kylie and Charlie, both with the same expression as the woman. All three of them were on the sidelines, so to say. Then, a little boy appeared, also in a black cloak. He had red hair like Rayna's, only his had a tint of dark brown in it. His eyes were a dark blue-green, and his skin was slightly tanner than Rayna's. And on his head sat to orange-ish fox ears.

"Maddie..." she whispered looking at the woman. "Midoriku...Kylie...Charlie...Ollie..." she added, looking over at the rest. Two other people, and a cat, appeared, and, like everyone else, were adorned in black cloaks and a blank expression. The man was tall, with dark brown hair and dark blue eyes, which usually had a small twinkle in them. He looked strong, and it looked as if he were just growing a beard. The other person was a woman, who was a bit shorter than him, with short, ruby red hair and bright green eyes. She had soft, creamy colored skin and pale pink lips, and two small, white fangs hidden behind them. The cat had copper colored fur, and hawk-like, golden yellow eyes that seemed to pierce through anything it looked at.

"Mom, Dad...Hawk!" she cried, looking at the people surrounding her. Then, a small girl appeared next to Ronin, only she wasn't in a cloak, but wore the same expression as everyone else. It was Andi. Rayna's eyes widened. "Andi!" she yelled, trying to get her to look up at her. But it was no use. Roning grinned. pointing a finger at Maddie. A red beam of light shot out, and hit her dead on. Maddie fell back on the ground, dead. Rayna screamed, her hands flying up to cover her mouth. Ronin did the same thing to Midoriku, and then Kylie. "NO! STOP!" Rayna cried. But he just kept at it, killing Charlie next. Rayna screamed, trying to run over to him. But she couldn't move her feet. Ronin then killed Ollie, and then her mom and dad.

"DAMNIT, STOP!" She yelled, trying her best to move. But no avail. Tears were streaming down her face as she watched him kill Hawk. Ronin, now grinning devilishly, placed his finger on the top of Andi's head, pausing for dramatic effect. Rayna's eyes widened in horror as she shook her head. "No...no, don't. DON'T!" she yelled, but it was too late. The beam shot out of his finger, and killed Andi instantly. Rayna screamed in terror, looking around at the bodies. One by one, they were disappearing. "No, don't die!" she yelled, sobbing. "No! NO!"

"Goodbye, Rayna." Ronin's icy cold voice sent chills up Rayna's spine. She looked over, and saw a bright red beam of light...

"Rayna....Rayna, wake up!" A voice called. Rayna's eyelids snapped open as she panted, her eyes darting around the room. She was in her dorm, lying down on her soft bed. And Charlie was sitting next to her, hanging over her, smiling softly. "Morning, love." he greeted, placing a hand on her forehead, and sweeping the hair out of her face, and the sweat. "Had a bad dream?" he asked, looking concerned. Rayna had caught her breath, feeling her heartbeat return to normal. She sat up straight in her bed, looking down to her lap. 'A dream....just a dream....' she assured herself. She then looked up to Charlie and smiled weakly, caressing his cheek. "Don't worry." she whispered.

Charlie smiled, leaning forward and kissing her. Rayna smiled, closing her eyes to return the kiss. It seemed she was getting more comfortable with being intimate with Charlie. After a moment, a thought struck Rayna's mind, making her eyes open again and her to pull away immediately. Charlie had a confused look on his face, but before he could open his mouth to say anything, Rayna beat him to it.

"Where's Andi?" she asked, looking around the room. She didn't see Andi anywhere. Charlie, after a moment, smiled, sighing in relief. "Don't worry. Kylie took her out to the Dining Hall to get something to eat." He assurted her, taking her hand into his. Rayna exhaled, smiling. "Okay." she whispered, and kissed him again.
