Its a good start! The title and the header area with the lightning is really cool.
I think the background is much too bright (hurts my eyes! smile ) so maybe try some other shades of blue, or contrasting colors that aren't so intense. The background of the actual content frame probably doesn't need to have a texture for a background, the easier it is to read content, the more likely that people will read it. And finally, the navigation is a little hard to read, maybe don't have the letters shaded at the bottom.

The layout organization is good, and the font is really cool. If I'd change anything, I'd make it not so saturated with bright blue. You could downplay it by using a duller or lighter color in some areas...I dunno. But overall good work heart
