Rules

[1] No cybering under any circumstances. Moderators will ban you from the guild for this. You will not get a warning. You will be banned.
  • Shounen ai/Shoujou ai is completely different, of course. Remember Gaia's PG-13 rule and you'll be fine.
  • If you have any questions on what is allowed and what isn't, PM a crew member and ask.
[2] No flaming. This should be obvious to everyone. If someone is breaking rules, report them to a guild mod.

[3] Any images of roleplaying characters must not exceed a PG-13 rating. If we find any images that are inapropriate, we'll delete them without warning.
  • If your image distorts the size of the pages by stretching them, it will also be deleted.
[4] Even though this is a Yu-Gi-Oh guild, other types of roleplays are allowed, though it would be nice if you keep these to a minimum and mostly focus on Yu-Gi-Oh.

[5] Follow the rules of the thread creator. If they add extra rules, then you must follow them as well.

[6] Absolutely no critisizing anyone's roleplaying. If you feel someone isn't holding up to your standards, you do have a right to ask them to leave, but no saying, "Your roleplaying sucks, get the hell out!". Say something like, "Sorry, but I don't think you'll be able to keep up with the pace of this thread. I have to ask you to leave." Something like that would be ideal.

[7] No discussion of roleplay-related topics please. Try to keep threads to roleplays only. None of this:
Thread: "How do you feel about made up characters?"
Threads such of these can go in the general forum.
  • Threads inqiring about roleplay partners, etc. are allowed.

More rules will be added if needed.

A NOTE ON MENTOR THREADS.

What is a mentor thread:
A mentor thread is a place where poor/mediocre/unconfident roleplayers can go to get help and learn how to better their roleplay.

Why should I join a mentor thread:
If your roleplaying isn't that great or you don't feel confident with your skill, you can join one and the mentor will give you tips and help you to better your roleplaying.

Who's to say that I can't roleplay??:
To me, good roleplaying is just a matter of opinion. Personally, I find that I can't roleplay to save my life. No one here will judge you. You should know if you're a good/bad roleplayer.

Do I have to join a mentor thread?:
Absolutely not. They're there to better yourself, but remember: If you're a poor roleplayer, expect to get bumped from some threads.

Okay, I want to make my own mentor thread!:
Unfortunatly, only extreamly experienced roleplayers will be allowed to make them. We'll have limits on the number of mentors and once a mentor is chosen, they'll start a thread and take responsibility for teaching the roleplayers who joined.

What makes a good mentor?:
Someone who can roleplay, who's kind and patient, who can explain things well, and someone who has nice spelling and grammar.

I think I'd make a good mentor.
If that's the case, you should let me know you're interested. I'll look at your threads and see how your spelling, grammar and roleplaying is. If you really, really impress me then you're all set to make a thread after I give you the 'OK'.

The current Mentor is Lady Lunar Phoenix. She will decide if she needs any help with the mentorship. Do not harass her with PMs about how you want to be a mentor too.
