Unwired TV has recently released five exclusive video interviews with various faces and voices of Resident Evil. They interview:

Recently, Famitsu magazine released an article regarding Biohazard 5: Alternate Edition (Resident Evil 5: Director's Cut in North America), which will be compatible with the PS3 motion wand. Jun Takeuchi has also stated that it will be made for the Xbox 360, albeit in a "different form" after stating that the new scenario included in the game is too big for downloadable content. The new scenario is the flashback from Resident Evil 5 of Chris and Jill infiltrating the Spencer Estate in an attempt to capture the mastermind behind Umbrella.

Capcom has also stated that this scenario is not the only new content being brought in with the game. There are confirmed to be more outfits and possibly even new game modes. Also, all this new content will be fully compatible with your current Resident Evil 5 save file if you already own the game.

Longtime fans will see plenty of homages to the original Spencer Estate, and no enemies have been shown yet. Capcom did have a say on this, and you can find the translation of this article below.

Big Update on Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition

-Two new scenarios, not just one
-Four new costumes
-Eight characters for Mercenaries (assumed to be four characters and four alternate costumes for them, but nobody's sure yet)
-EX figures (how many isn't announced yet)

The Lost in Nightmares Episode (500 yen/400 MSP): This includes the previously announced new episode that pairs RE5 hero Chris Redfield with RE series veteran Jill Valentine. Famitsu confirms a one hour gameplay time for the episode as well as a frightening new enemy who haunts the halls underneath Spencer's mansion. Also included in the pack are EX figures and two characters for use in Mercenaries mode.

Costume Pack 1 (200 yen/160 MSP): This includes two costumes, EX figures, and two characters for Mercenaries.

Unannounced New Episode (500 yen/400 MSP): That's right, Lost in Nightmares isn't the only additional episode! Sadly, Famitsu doesn't have any details on this additional scenario. As with the Lost in Nightmares DLC, it will include EX figures and two characters for Mercenaries mode.

Costume Pack 2 (200 yen/160 MSP): Like Costume Pack 1, this includes two costumes, EX figures, and two Mercenaries characters.

In total, the price for the Xbox 360 DLC will be 1120 Microsoft Points.

::Resident Evil 5: Lost in Nightmares DLC released::

The first half of the Resident Evil 5 downloadable content is now out on both the Xbox Live Marketplace and the Playstation Store! Look into the events that occurred in 2006, when Chris and Jill entered Ozwell Spencer's mansion in an effort to acquire information on Albert Wesker...

In addition, this unlocks Excella Gionne and Barry Burton for use in The Mercenaries Reunion. Alongside this, there is a costume pack for the same mode which includes Warrior Chris and Fairy Tale Sheva. Go play it!
