"The Dream" A Poem.

Yeah, I kinda stoled the ending from Byakugan978, but I did put a little different twist on it. So, sorry..I really liked your's and added to it with some of my own stuff.
"The DreaM"

I had a dream last night.
I saw an adolescent boy,
sitting
in a field of charred wildflowers.
In his hand lay an
empty box of
matches.

The tears rolled down his face,
making clean
streaks
in the soot covered skin.
He has killed them all..
Burnt alive.
"They were his only friends",
I realized suddenly while the dream played on
"He's killed his ONLY friends!"
I scream at him.
Only, he will not look at me.

Won't
even
acknowledge
I'm there.
He quickly looks down,
and in his hand
loosely grasped
is one small purple flower. Still
alive.
He's saved one friend.
The wind whispers slightly,
blows his hair to and fro.
A small, quiet, helpless fear enters his
eyes.

The winds
violently wrests it from his hands.
He opens his
mouth in protest
as he clutches the air for his only
friend
left in this dark smoking field of decay.
He turns, towards
me and for the first time
notices he's not alone.

Someone
has come into his field, and has seen everything.
"Did they seen me murder my
beloveds?" his eyes question silently.
As he continues to gaze in terror at me,
I know now that
boy is me.
