[Wingardia] No. 413 - Ashori's Room.

Ashori frowned slightly, shaking her head. "But then you wouldn't get to ride!" she protested. Shiro hesitated a moment, and then bowed his head slightly. I'll just watch on my own, he said with a small frown. I'm not so helpless that I require constant supervision... People seemed to get that idea for some reason, probably because he was so small. Then Ashori looked up at Itami again, her head tilting curiously. "A... what stand?"  

[ginseku]

"Ice cream! its like the tastiest stuff ive ever had. but this ice cream stand in particular is very good, they use special berry extracts so its basically like eating a creamy berry. Do either of you like berries?"
He looked over at Ashori, then at shiro.
"Ill get you some ice cream so you can try it."

Ashori listened quietly for a moment, still slightly confused. She honestly hadn't had ice cream before, and wasn't sure what he was talking about. But she had had some berries before... "Um, yeah.." she replied uncertainly, and Shiro nodded his head as well. "Thanks."

"what kind of berries do you like?"
He asked from the stall, being the only one in line. He looked back at the cashier, and paid him money for a large cone as he waited for her answer.(short posts! nuuuu!)

Ashori thought to herself for a moment and then looked back at him. "...strawberries? Blueberries?" She wasn't sure if that's the type of berry he was talking about, though she couldn't think of any other. She blinked watching the exchange of money. She looked almost guiltily to one of the pouches she wore on her belt. It contained all of the money she owned, which was not a lot at all.
Shiro breathed in slowly, taking in the scents of the ice cream. His tail began wagging as his tiny pink tongue hung out of one side of his mouth.  

[ginseku]

"A split scoop, blueberries and strawberries please."
The man nodded, grabbing an ice cream spoon, and dipping it into the 2 gallon buckets. He Pushed the tremendous scoops together onto the cone, and handed it to him. he took it over to Ashori.
"Share it with shiro, i can tell he wants a bite."
He smiled, and handed her the cone.

Ashori leaned forward slightly, watching curiously as the man behind the booth scooped up very large scoops of ice cream and squished them into a cone. Then Itami handed it to her and she stared for a second before slowly raising it to her face and licking it almost hesitantly. Then she blinked, and took an actual bite of it, shivering from the feel of the cold ice cream against her fangs. She held it in front of her shoulder neck, letting Shiro have a taste as well, and the dog's tail seemed to wag even faster.

Itami smiled at both of them.
"I guess you like it then, huh?"
He grabbed Ashori's free hand, walking her to the go carts.
"Ill get you some other kinds to try later."
He smiled, watching shiro lap the ice cream up.
"Shiro, you might wanna slow down before you get brain freeze."

Ashori nodded, smiling at him. "Yes, we both like it," she said, watching Shiro for a moment as he continued licking at the ice cream. Right after Itami warned him about a brain freeze, the little dog suddenly froze, and squeezed his eyes shut until it passed. He hesitated just for a second before starting to eat agian.

"It wont happen if you slow down a bit, Shiro. its just your nerves telling you to chill out and stop eating so fast."
He smiled. then turned towards the go cart track.
"Were here. You wanna sit in an audience boot, shiro? we'll leave you with the ice cream till we get back."
He smiled, walking Ashori over to the audience booth to let Shiro have his ice cream and get off.

Shiro frowned, snorted, and simply continued eating, stopping just long enough for Ashori to take a large bite. She smiled, shaking her head in amusement, and stopped when they arrived at the booth. She held out her hand and Shiro stepped onto it. Then she lowered him down and balanced the ice cream in front of him. "K, wait here," she said. Shiro just stared at her, slightly annoyed. He wasn't a little kid... the urge to transform was growing.

Itami smiled, watching shiro be happy with his ice cream.
"Lets get going."
He pulled her into the line, just as the previous set of racers arrived. Her pulled her into a double cars, putting her in the drivers seat.
"Ok, the same concept as bumper cars. Except this time, theres a brake thatll immediately slow you down. or stop, depends on how fast youre moving. "
He strapped her in again, firmly. Then did so for himself.

Ashori nodded slowly, eyes slightly wide as she mentally compared this car to the other. She noted the extra pedal, but Itami explained about it before she could ask. She sat down, lifting her arms so he could more easily buckle her in, and then waited for him to get situated as well. Then she sat there, lightly gripping the steering wheel as she waited for it to start.

The Instructor repeated the same instuctions and a few saftey warnings a few moments after he explained the pedal, then the first cart drove off, followed by 7 others before it was their turn.
"Go for it!"
He smiled at Ashori, telling her it was time. He looked over at shiro as they began to take off, watching him with his ice cream

Ashori listened quilety to the instructor, and then glanced at Itami before nodding her head. She pressed down on the pedal, gradually buliding up speed as she navigated the turns quite easily. She really had gotten the hang of these car things pretty quickly. She was even learning it was good to slow down a bit on the turns as well, and she was keeping herself from slamming into others like with the last ride. It was kind of hard though.
Shiro watched from the sidelines, but wasn't really paying much attention. He was busy eating the ice cream. He soon found himself getting full, but there was a lot left. So he frowned, finally deciding to just go ahead and transform. He closed his eyes, concentrating.
