Brian: Are we there yet?
Spyke: Oh, you are NOT going to start this.
Brian: ... well are we?
Spyke: Brian, if we were there, I would have thrown you off this ship a long time ago.
Brian: ... so we're not there?
Spyke: ... this is pretty common, just to let you know, Polka.
Polka: Well, I was actually wondering the same thing...
Spyke: *Exaggerated sigh* Just what I need... a female version of Brian.
*The intercom clicks on.*
Ritz: Brian, Spyke and... Waltz? Jazz?... oh ya, Polka: Report to the bridge. Now.
*The intercom clicks off. Brian rejoices.*
Brian: Woohoo! We're there! I was starting to get space sick!
Polka: I'm getting home sick...
Brian: Wait, do you even know where your home is?
Polka: Oh ya! I don't! Thanks Brian!
Brian: No problem!
Spyke: *Beats his head against the coffee table. Intensely.*
*The three of them walk down to the bridge. They enter to see Ritz standing in front of the viewing window. The blue and green planet of Seed is in clear view*
Brian: Woohoo, we're here!
Ritz: Yes, yes. Woohoo. Unfortunately, I have a Boohoo as well.
Brian: A booboo? Do you want me to kiss it for you?
Ritz: ... *Ignores comment* Well, I used our communication systems to contact the Seed InterGalactic Reception Bay, but they won't pick up... either they hate us, or our equipment is outdated.
Brian: How could they hate us? I don't even know if we hate us!
Spyke: ... actually, as weird as that sounds, it's pretty true.
Ritz: ... *Ignores comment. Again.* I'm going to go into the atmosphere and see if I can get a connection then. Unfortunately, if we go any lower by ship, they'll instantly shoot us down.
Polka: Oh... well, we could use those hoverboard thingies in the back to float down to the surface!
*Brian, Spyke and Ritz all pause and glance at Polka.*
Brian: Huh? What do you know? You're just a n00bie... n00b!
Ritz: Actually, an inventory list on the ship's database did confirm a sort of sky flying device in the back of the ship. Let's enter the atmosphere first.
*They enter the atmosphere. Imagine big streaks of fire flying off the ship. PRETTY. Ok, now stop. You've just imagined the ship entering the atmosphere. Wasn't that cool?
The four head to the back of the ship and enter a small docking bay.*
Ritz: Let's see... they should be right-... AHA! *Presses a button that slides back a panel. Four 5' long boards are lined up next to each other. Shiny.*
*Brian falls forward. He regains himself after a few seconds.
Spyke: Woah, are you ok, man? Looks like you lost conciousness... for a second.
Brian: Ya. I am... and they're called StreamBoards.
Spyke: ... what?
Brian: The boards. They're called StreamBoards. They get the majority of their energy to stay aloft and flying with the wind currents pushing through the atmosphere. To control the board and to go up or down, you hold on to a control device in one of your hands. It signals to the board's internal computer to drop or lower altitude.
Ritz: ... wait, how do you know all of this? You shouldn't have any memories beyond the one's we confirmed earlier...
Brian: I know... but it just popped up when I saw the boards.
Ritz: Hmmm... Anyhow, it confirms one of my theories. We still have every bit of our memories: they're just locked away and our minds can't access them.
Polka: But how come Bri accessed this?
Ritz: I don't know... but they sure sound like fun. Hell knows I can use a break from all this research.
Spyke: *Grabs a white board and a pair of goggles from the cabnet* Surfs up, anyone?
Brian: Race you to the ground!
Polka: *Looks out window* Hey! I can see my house from here!
Brian: Polka, you don't remember where you live!
Polka: .................. oh ya!
The StreamBoarders are ready for action!
