If you break down the number you'll get it. 666, the number of the Beast, 1 meaning he's number one. So what it means is that he is the Number 1 Beast.

Sounding the Seventh Trumpet wasn't released in 1999 but rather in 2001. Here, read: Sounding the Seventh TrumpetBut something else did happen that year and that is actually when the band formed. The band known as "Avenged Sevenfold" was in fact formed in 1999.

Let me clarify this for everyone, 6661 = 1999 = Avenged Sevenfold beginning the walk down the long road that brought them to who they are today, the most kickass, greatest ******** band in the world.
