Halloween Contest Entry - Dusk And Her Embrace

[Tak-Jak]

Like I said I would, I have come back to comment on your piece.
Because I am ADD, you have to catch me fast.
And with the opening being poetry,
and having it flow so easily,
Its almost I could hear the bard telling his tale
frail hands upon a knolled staff.

Then telling the tale in a perspective that was easy to follow,
and just chilling, like a real ghost tale.

But the ending..
You took me to the other side of the mirror with that one.
Totally unexpected, and again the flow of the poem
was perfect and flowed as smooth ink.

That comment makes me happier than buttered toast... and that's happy... well more than toast cause it just got out of a toaster but still pretty darn happy. More comments like that and my ego will explode.

So, I must state that I thought the poem was a really good original idea and was one of the main reasons I wanted yours to win.

The story was captivating and tied together really well.

The ending surpised me.

Thank you very much Waffles. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I found it to be decent but not equivalent to some of my other work, and suprisingly enough many seem to enjoy it. Just goes to show.
