I like that you have the basic shading principles down and the picture is very smooth, but to me I thought it was a guy. The ears should be a little lower as well as the eyes. 3nodding

Personally, for me, i don't really like the big rounded head thing in anime artwork. I like the curves they'll put into the face (mostly to excentuate the cheekbones, etc.) I personally feel that the face makes her seem...fat...not that fat is bad, but like...fat in a bad way cause i don't think she was intended to be fat?? I don't know how to quite describe it, because it is your style after all.
Like Bleu-Fyre said before, ears and eyes should be lower. I think the ears could even be a wee bit bigger as well, though...some people have small ears.
And cause I can be OCD about spelling, it's portrait. ^^;;; I hope i don't come off as mean. Just trying my best at critiquing (which i probably just totally spelt that word wrong, lol).
Besides all that, the coloring is better than what i do! So good job with that. And over all, it is a good pic. Good work!

Don't feel bad or mean, because this is why i posted the drawing here. I agree with your critism and she doesn't sepose to look fat (no affense for anyone).
I post my drawings on forums so when i make another drawing i know what to keep my eye on and don't make the same mistakes twice. I'm still struggling with all the sizes, but i'm making stap-by-stap improvements to my drawings.
Thanks about the word correction, i'm not english, so all critism on that comes in handy to smile .

Not my favourite style but in that style not bad. I don't see a need for the eyes to be lower, but the ears should be. Ears are at nose level, not eye level. The forehead shadows are a little wierd to me. There is no hair to make that shape and it makes the head look... wierd. I don't know how to say it any better. Try making the shadows come from only the hair that is sticking out. Hair that is backwards leaves no shadow on the forehead.
