Does anyone read these books?

They're by Laurell K. Hamilton. About a vampire hunter, Anita Blake. For the 18 and up crowd ('least in my opinion).

I'm on the seventh one right now. I'm freaking addicted to them...

Just wondering if anyone else is into them.

I have some of the Anita Blake books floating around somewhere but I'm actually way more into her Meredith Gentry books.

And yeah, all the books are totally 18 plus!!! Maybe even more. sweatdrop eek
Not a lot more...just a little more plus...like...graduate from highschool first then go read them. XD

I was really surprised how hooked I got on her too. And I've read all of hers so I really should do Anita soon. I started Obsidian Butterfly and never finished it... ninja

Obsidian Butterfly was the first one I ever grabbed 'cause it was so thick. And I think they read fine out of order.
Though I did read the Meredith Gentry ones in order...doesn't matter, I have the first Anita if I wanna start from the beginning. 3nodding

I don't see how people do that. I can't stand to read out of order.

There's so much of her personal life that doesn't flow if you don't read them in order.

I dunno. Sometimes books that even though connected, you can read out of order because each story stands well enough on it's own and doesn't depend much on the outside forces of another book.

And it's okay. Most books are better when you do read them in order. You don't have to wonder who and why as much when certain conversations and moments happen.

I've read all the Anita Blake books so far. Can't say I'm a fan of the sexual content, but the storyline in general is good stuff.

I found out the other day that there's a comic book version of Guilty Pleasures.

I saw a couple of pages from and it looks decent.
