Okay
So I have this friend
I met him on Gaia, but we mostly talk over MSN
I've known him for about a year now
..
Yeah, a year

Lately, for like... the past 3 weeks he's been really mad at me
He's said he dislikes me and that I bother him
I've tried my very best to leave him alone
I have asked him why he's mad at me
But he never answers me
He just ignores me

It hurts so much
And he knows how much it hurts me
But he doesn't care

See, the day before he started to ignore me (and then saying he dislikes me) he was completely normal
Saying "I love you" and such, as always

Then, he's just...
Gone.
I don't know what I've done, and he won't tell me.
There's this big, empty hole where he used to be
And I can't fill it

It's not like he was "more than a friend"
I have a boyfriend, and I love him very much
But this friend... means so much to me...

How do you think I should deal with this?
It's been 3 weeks.
He's acting normal with everyone else but me.
I've said I'm sorry if I upset him.
And I've asked what I've done wrong.

I don't know what to do anymore

Then it's your own fault for hurting him.
I think, that if you have a boyfriend you shouldn't allow other men to say "I love you."
"I care for you." Is more accurate, I believe.
I think it's possible that that friend of yours might have wanted you to himself.
Did he know you were taken?
And when did you tell him?
Men aren't that complicated.
You just need to think plainly.

He says "I love you" to his other female friends too
He means it as a friend
I know I asked him why he said it, the first time he did
And he meant it as a friend, just like with the other girls

I think I must make it very clear that both of us mean it as friend-love. Many times, during this year, I have asked him if he ever felt more for me and the answer has always been 'No'.

It is possible that he wants me for himself
But he's the kind of person who would actually say it if he did

He knows I'm taken.
I told him the minute me and my boyfriend got together, in February
I know men aren't that complicated
But this one really is

Nowadays, I've been able to talk to him from time to time
And he's always different

He changes the subject when I ask what the problem is, and talks as if everything's normal one day
The next, he's back to "Don't talk to me. I hate you."
He's really one of those who change personality more often than they change underwear

The female friends we have in common are blinded by him
Even the one who already has a boyfriend
He attract girls and treat them as they were the only ones

I haven't hurt him
And if I have, I've apologized
He's the one hurting me.
