Hi.
My name is Damien and I'm an addict.
My mom really wanted me to come here tonight, and it was either this or go to jail for the eight ball of coke she found in my ceiling fan; so here I am!
Um, I was never any good with these speeches and introductions, so I'll just say the, ya know, basic things an' then I'll hop down so the next person can speak.

I have a drug problem, I do whatever I can get my hands on.
What's that?

Oh, um, yeah okay. I started back when I was fifteen, so this was a few years ago. It started with crushed Valium I had scored from my soon-to-be dealer. I managed to keep it hidden from most of my friends and parents; but I lost a good relationship to it, and in all honesty it was her that kept me some-what clean.

Um, I think I've run out of things to say.
I'll step back up next meeting or something.

That's pretty good. It's a bit confusing at the start since it just jumps right into it, but that's cleared up later since you find out that it's someone talking.
It's very well-written.
