Today at work I was just standing there minding my own business when all of a sudden I started feeling really nervous. You know the feeling. Your heart starts beating like you've just ran a mile. You become unfocused and you can't stop shaking. For no reason at all. Then I felt compelled to look down, so I did and there was a huge spider. It was as if there was a psychic or spiritual connection between the both of use. When the spider was out of sight I was fine. There are two conclusions that I have come to:

1. The spider was psychic and knew I was afraid of bugs and junk. So it used its power to strike fear into me before I could see it or know it was there.

2. I have acquired a sixth sense and I could feel the spider below me.

Weird?

I considered that a little. Like perhapes I knew it from a preveous life, or maybe, we were both once part of a greater being that broke into sperate spiritual forms.

It was so weird...

You probably knew them in a different life time. That's what they say, when you meet someone for the first time and you feel a bond with them or something. And when you know how to do something naturaly they say that's what you did in your past life times.
For example, I'm really good at playing the trumpet but I hardly ever practiced. I was probably a musican in a band or some junk like that in a preveous life. Makes you wonder sometimes.

Probably. Wouldn't it be ironic(or coincidental) if in a prevous life the spider and I were in a jazz band or something and we got into a huge fight. The band broke up and we he blamed it on me and beat the living crap out of me too. That's why I was kind of afraid of it. Or maybe I just think too much...

i understand the feeling.

now about the spider thing, i think that it may have been a sixth sense, or something else that is supernatural (or in my opinion, divine). i don't believe that spiders have the ability to be psychic.

While both conclusions are possible, the second conclusion is much more likely...

I don't know if you have ever heard that that "everything is connected"? Well everything is. Quite literally. If you look at it from the scientific perspective, your body's atoms are touching your clothes' atoms, which in turn are touching the atoms that make up the spider.

So having a "sixth sense" is just being aware (whether consiously or unconsiously) of everything around you. Everything in the universe has a "sixth sense", and it is up to them whether or not they choose to be aware of it.
