Troubled by a disturbed hibernation…
Primary nutrition is only important in a matter of life and death.
Focus switched suddenly…

Insects walk across filthy floors.
High pitched voices are fading in the background.
Apathy makes an entry in a room where the clock ticks slowly,
Synchronizing with a sighing heart.
A colder echo…

Synapses reached their limit,
And stopped transmitting…
I’m still waiting,
With my arms wide open…
