Lobe dermal punch

I'm seriously considering getting the little space I have left on my lobes to accomodate a 2g hole via punch.
The reason I want to go this way instead of just stretching is that I don't want the part of my ear to grow larger, I just want the hole there while maintaining the shape of my lobes.

Anyone here ever had lobes punched? I'm curious as to if the shape of the punch remains even after fully healed, and also if the skin around the punched hole grows larger afterwards. I know lots of people have cartilage done, but it seems only a few have lobes done. Anyone?

I have my cartaledge done, not quite the same though.

I do have a friend who got his lobes punched as at two, the stretched to zero.
The sape of his lobe didnt really change at all except for the stretch to a zero. The hole also just stays round when the jewlery is not in them. Unlike my stretched from 18 that do the whole cat butt thing.
