is not having trust an issue?

well...i finally have the guy that i loved for atleast over a year now. well it's either i loved/love him or i have this really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really [times infinitie] huge thing for him.

anywho...

well not everybody's perfect, and that does include him. he already has a tattoo, he smokes, and he has a kid. ... well i'm not sure bout the kid part. i never heard him say he DOES have one so...
he and i are only 14.

i have all these feelings for him...i know i shouldn't .. but he makes me happy. he's really easy to talk to. and i'm at my happiest when i'm even just around him. he's not exactly the "cleanest" of guys...when i have ppl not even expecting i would swear.

but my point is...i don't really trust him all that much. i mean, we only just started "going out" or whatever...but i'm actually having second thoughts about him. he's what i always wanted for ...*thinks back and counts*... 2 years... and it's not like his reputation in relationships is all that great...

so i've talked to friends whom might as well be related to me. ... but none of them have anything to say that'll completely help. most of them havn't been in my shoes..so i turn to you, emo guild. please. i need advice. preferably from experience.

First of all, you shouldn't trust rumors.
My boyfriend had a very small reputation of being all player-ish. But I'm with him anyway, and it turns out... He's very, very loyal. :3

Second of all, don't judge the book by it's cover. D:
My ex was a good guy. Kinda shy. Vegitarian. Younger than me and very sweet. But the way he dumped me was very harsh. .__.
So the looks doesn't matter all that much.

And...
I think you should confront him, sooner or later.
((Maybe tell him that his "reputation" when it comes to relationships worries you a bit, and that you just want to be sure before getting serious with him.))

It's hard to trust people, I know that.
They have to gain your trust, you know...?
It's hard to automatically trust someone, no matter who they are.
So, it will take a while before you can trust him.
He has to prove he's... trust-able. xD;

That's my only advice for now. :3

Everyone has done something not that great in their past. Some have done something really bad, and some of done something awful. But no matter what any of us have done, at one point or another, we will realize the stupid mistakes we have made, and try to change. If you were that person that had done something really bad, would you always want someone judging you for it? I know it's hard, but sometimes, you have to look past other peoples pasts, and look at the person they are now. Thats how you learn the most about them, and learn whether or not you can trust them.
