I have never read one of the 24 books, however I'm sure someone has, so I'm rather curious if they are any good.

I've glanced through them, they looked to be around 150 pages maximum, so they seem like they're really short, in the style of the show--of course, main guy is Jack Bauer. It looked decent, but I never picked it up, I'll pick one up and tell you guys how it is, I'm gonna go to work today so I'll pick it up on my way there to check it out.

There's the link. I'll go get them sometime this week--just a few. I couldn't find it last time I was up there--plus I need to save some money for some games by the end of the month.

Actually they are all around 300+ pages.

I have three of them, though I haven't even finished the first one. It is not that it isn't enjoyable. I just ended up not reading it, and reread Harry Potter instead, and then just didn't pick it up afterwards.

Harry potter over 24 how could you?

Harry Potter? Gag me with a spoon - I'm so sick of HP. Jack Bauer could get rid of Voldemort in 24 hours, and Harry's been dealing with him for six years now and hasn't done it.... Back to the topic now.

24 novels? Hadn't even thought of that. Might check it out.

i have read all of the 24 books so far and there are 6 of them, and they are really good, and for the last few of them the writer has got together with one of the writers of the show and actually discussed the books, the books are all prequals to the series and that means that all those characters that they have killed off are back and jack is still with Terri, Kim is around 9 years old in the first book, and tony almeda, christopher henderson, nina myers are in all of them. Also morris is one of the main characters as well as tony Almeda and of corse Jack Bauer in the fith book, and this one also explains where curtis came from and it one of jacks undercover mission where he is a casino boss. They are really good and i definately reccommend them. but they are nt as good as the tv show though, you cnt actually c jack lol. but it keeps me busy while i am waiting for the new series.

I've got three of them so far. The first I was able to find was, I think, the fifth. It's the only one I've finished so far, and therefore the only one I can pass judgment on. I thought it was a quick, enjoyable read, and though not as good as the show, it does - as Killer Leo said - fill my craving.

My only complaints are that it needed more Jack Bauer, as well as a better editor. But I like that Tony's still alive and kicking, along with Nina and Mrs Palmer - since they're my favorite characters. mrgreen
