its not just recently either, its been like that since the 70's with shows like battle of the planets and transformers.

atleast transformers recorvered from the animal saga part

Transformers went to s**t after the Beast War saga's, the voice acting and the scripting is incredibly cheesy not to mention all the faux-cgi looks terrible.

Quite frankly, I think it is because people do not want to loose the`innocence, purity, and simple ways of childhood. Once those things are gone, they must face reality and become individuals. During a time when teenagers are trying to find their identity and join the world, I find it not quite fair that you criticize them so.

Contrary to what YOU think, Pokemon has improved, its changed because the audience that is watching it is new. The fact its nearly 10 years old and still going so strong is testament to its quality.

I watch little kids shows...not super 5 year old little kid shows
but the shows on Nickelodeon <---- however you spell it =/

they make me laugh.
at my house we don't get a lot of laughs anymore.
so its nice to smile once and while.
