What makes you donate to a quest?

If any of you do donate to people's quests, that is.

I mean, do they have to seem nice to you? Deserving? Like they're working hard towards what they want? Do they have to be literate? Or, do you just fling your gold aimlessly into the Quests and Charities forum?

They have to be literate, and I just have to feel that they really want it. Thats all, plus i need to have enough to spare.

Eh, I only donate to people that I know, and only if I feel like they'd do the same for me. And if they don't beg. Asking cool, begging get them shot.

Then I also do the birthday and Christmas gift thing to the people I talk to most often.

I don't donate to people, and i don't like people donating to me either. I don't know why..

They definately have to be literate. And if they ask me, then it's over.

Usually I just have to like them.
See them in a forum or something with something in their sig, and I donate because I can.

I havent really donated anything yet.
But once I get my avatar to when I would like it.
I will start raising money.
For other peoples quests.
But for me.
Factors would be that.
They have to be semi literate.
That have to organize it.
They cant just be like "I need gold for this and this"
And thats all.
They must be dedicated.
As in active.
And bumping thier post every so often.
Thats about it.

the only time i donate is when i have some gold to spare, or when i have the items they wont and i am willing to trade it, alot of the time i just give out the junk items coz that what people seem to want

I'm inspired by creative quest threads. If it's boring, even if it's legible and literate, I don't like to donate. Or sometimes, I'll just randomly send someone an item that I have that I don't use anymore, but see that they're questing for.
