One of THE greatest and oldest DEATH Metal bands out there. All started out in 1988 with Chris Barnes and Alex Webster. They were one of the first bands to pioneer the genre of DEATH Metal and influenced so many other other DEATH Metal bands out there like Suffocation, Morbid Angel, and Dismembered Fetus. In 1995 the band was forced to relieve Chris as lead singer and brought in the current lead singer, George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher. But although Barnes was forced to leave the band because of the sole fact that he spent too much time writing for his new band, Six Feet Under that he stopped writing for Cannibal Corpse. But to date, their most memorable albums are Eaten Back to Life, Butchered at Birth, and Tomb of the Mutilated. Though personally my favorite happens to be The Bleeding.
