Monroe question....

This is probably a 'dumb' question, but I figured I would go ahead and ask it anyways...

I'm thinking of buying some body jewelry offline [much cheaper, and just as good of quality, in my opinion] for my monroe piercing and I needed to know what length the jewelry typically used for this piercing is.

I'm looking to downsize, because this one is too long.

About what length do you think I should downsize to?

Actually... I think the width of people's faces vary greatly due to fat under the skin there.
To get the best size I'd go to a parlour and get them to try different sizes for you. Then you know what size to buy online.
If I had to guess... 3/8"?

^^^ agreed. It varies so much. I have thicker lips, so I have to get longer posts.

Usually either 5/16 or 3/8... but it really does depend on the individual.
