I know it's not the right place, but i have to show respect to a man that gave his all. Farewell to a man that helped to start a great science fiction world and entertained so many people for so many years.

On german radio the reported, four scottish cities dispute about which city is Scotty's birthplace. That's funny, because he will be born in quite exactly 217 years.
(Hey, that's the past-future-tense or something like that and is mentioned at Milliway's)

James Doohan himself said that Scotty is from Aberdeen.

Says the city of Aberdeen too. Nevertheless Edinburgh, Elgin and Linlithgow said it even. I only had an german article, but found now that on Timesonline.co.uk. Seems like Aberdeen is the lucky winner.
