I carved away the buttons slightly so that they could be pushed in and out quicker...does that count? I intend to visually upgrade it after I test out some methods on my broken GH controllers.

my xplorer is a WIP i painted the note bars gold and im gunna paint the fatty white thing on the side black and maybe some more stuff on the head

To mod, you either paint, cut, or add things to your controller.

Well, I haven't changed the way it looks, but I switched the buttons around.
I just changed the colors around when opening the guitar when I had to fix my whammy bar. 3nodding
It goes green, yellow, orange, red, blue.

how tho i mean wont it mess it up if u paint it and also how do u add stuff and where could u get it?????? and how do u oppen up the wii guitar controller r there screws or something??

i'm going to paint my guitar hero II controller the body'll be black and the neack will be red but the buttons will be left alone and if it looks good i'll do it to my guitar hero III ps2 controller

I'm going to mod my GH III guitar (PS2) to have the words FUNK ON painted on. Sortof like Tom Morello's guitars.

All I've done is change my fret colors on my SG, it now stands ROYOR. It looks pretty cool, I eventually want to get my hands on 3 more red frets, and have all 5 be red (my SG is red also), I think that would look nice.
I was going to do the killswitch mod, but I use the select button for squeezing, and I'm too lazy to install another button or switch...
