Soul-Snatchers
He saw a night of onyx black
An obsidian ocean mirrored the sky
He sank to the ground, all hope had fled
His heart was pierced, he began to cry
How could he ever comprehend
The hatred of those who stole his dreams
When they never understood him
And tortured his soul to laugh at its screams
With every slash of spite and hate
A scar appeared upon his soul
His spirit broken, destitute
In place of his dreams, a gaping hole
You may ask who would do such a thing
For every word I speak is true
The victim’s name I’ll never tell
But his murderers were you
