I trust nobody read the note between 46 and 47?

To be fair, it was obvious even without that.

Either it was not so to some, or I've failed on a counter to my own sarcasm.

Yeah, just by looking at #1, you could tell it's a parody

I knew it was a put-on after reading the misquote in #1, and it was affirmed in #3. I really need to make some satire in some form one of these days. I've been a fan of it ever since the Colbert Report, and of course after reading A Modest Proposal in English class in high school.

Don't you see? These people have faith that they're being persecuted! How could you crush their hopes and dreams by telling them otherwise yada yada yada [abrupt end of line]

It is indeed odd that the group of Christians in question seem to believe that God's existence logically follows from the gradual acceptance of outside views.

Someone said "Happy holidays?" Hoshit, war against religion! Load your shotguns and put on your gasmasks!

Funny, to me, that many of us had a similar kneejerk reaction to the OP. Let us not forget ourselves.

I read the first one...and then realize it was complete crap. Call it badly made satire if you will.

George W. Bush's father is the one who said that Athiests should not be considered Americans, or even U.S. Citizens.

That thing was a funny read though.

After I read that Christians have a harder time getting married than Atheists, I just stopped reading. lmfao

edit:
Oh. Satire.

I think we could all do with a good read of A Modest Proposal. Satire is the unweildy morningstar of the collective arsenal that is intelligence. Swing it too hard, it'll come right back and jack you one right in the face.
