I found that...surrounding yourself with people, or keeping at least one person close to you helps with emotional buildup. It doesn't mean you have to let someone completely into your life, heart, and mind.
Not sure if this helps any.

Or, you get sick to death of people and distance yourself from everyone completely... That's what i did...
There was this guy i was really good friends with, and then he sated coming over every day, he came over while i was still in the bath and he'd leave as i was about to go to sleep, then, suddenly i kinda snapped, and i stopped letting anyone see me at all...
