I took this picture on may 28th, in Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah. I was there for a week on a school trip. we were hiking down a trail, and I see these two, seemingly dead trees. As soon as I whipped my camera out of my backpack, it started to snow.. so I had to yell at everyone in our group, to get the hell out of my picture. so, It is snowing in the background, when it is supposed to be like...100 F out... and I have a nifty b&w filter on it. Hope ye' like it =D

((Right forum, its called the arts, because its for all art.))
Thats beautiful, the subtle light and dark contrasts play wonderfully along the picture, giving it a light and airy almost other worldly feel. The fact that the trees are few and far between gives an excellent sense of isolation.

Thanks guys! I have really been thinking about doing photography for a living... afterall I have like... 6 cameras o.0
Rellik San- we were seriously isolated..... but then as soon as we got back to our tour bus, we noticed that not too far away, a walmart just randomly popped up... nothign around it.. just a walmart sitting there.
Niko Bleau-Thanks =D well, I didnt get any good at photography without practice... but I also have been doing photography since I was like, 9
simpleticsoul- Yeah, alot of the pics I take are in black and white. Reasons- 1, they give the pic a more depressed feeling(as this pic inagain- isolated) 2- colours don't always look great together 3- my pinter doesnt like color photos...
<3
I'm thinking about making this piture bigger, and putting it up iny house....

Hm, I remember playing a piece in eighth grade titled "Bryce Canyon Overture." It was a fun piece to play, and it's my favorite for the flute. Buuuuuut I've never been to Bryce Canyon before, and your picture made me smile. :]

Caity9117 WOW i love it its amazing... i wonder what it would have looked like with snow in it with snow on the trees or the ground, I think it wouldn;t look much different, just more isolated, and 'deathly'
