Author's Note
I want to start doing series of Dialogue, depending on feedback I'll make more and move it into Works in Progress, replacing the one thing I have going in there (Nuclear Winter).
Um, if this kicks off I want people to give me things to inspire me (i.e. "write a conversation with a Schizophrenic"), so I'm going to reserve the next post for the first piece and I'll pull it off of the first response I get.

A Conversation with Oneself

"You're an a*****e, you didn't need to keep going after he was dead.
Just because he bought the last pound of hamburger meat at the store too..."
"Shove off, he was still moving."
"Those are nerve endings firing off residue electrical charges, you know that. His poor family has to have a closed casket service now, if you're going to do this stuff then you have to show more control."
"Who the hell are you to tell me what to do?"
"Don't be so dramatic, look, for both of our sake's, how about the next time you get this urge, just look at the sky and calm down.
You like that right, the sky?"
"You know I do."
"We aren't the stain on the world that you think we are."
"Doesn't mean I have to like you."
"We should dispose of this body, I think the quarry might work; and be sure to clean what's left of him off."
"I know what I'm doing, you know that."
"..."
"..."
"Have you ever contemplated suicide, you know, since you hate us so much?"
"Nope, I'm better than that, you are too."
"Why do you talk like this while you work?"
"Like what?"
"To yourself."
"Sometimes in a blue moon I like the company."

"I hate you Robert.
I hate you too."

A Conversation with a Friend

"I can't believe it's come down to this, why didn't we see that car?"
Dunno Frank, why did you push me in front of it?
"The doctors say you may not wake up."
You better hope I don't.
"I just want you to know that I'll take care of Christine for you, so rest easy old friend."
I'll kill you, if you so much as go near my wife I swear to God I'll wake up and ******** KILL YOU.
"You know, just between you and me, they don't know about your Codiene allergy. I think I heard the nurse tell your doctor she was going to go and get a Codiene IV drip."
What?
"I'm going to get up now, I have to go and console your wife.
I bet your Life Insurance will pay it all off nicely; you know, your funeral."
Frank,don't do this.
"I'll catch you later Johnny."

A Conversation a Rock

"Woah dude, you doin' okay?"
"Yeah... No, not really."
"Why don't you just shift your weight?"
"Tried that, didn't work."
"Wow, that's 'a hell of'a fall... Good thing I just float."
"Rub it in more why dont'cha? a*****e, at least when I fall I'll survive."
"Huh?"
"I'll hit the ground and bounce, when you rain down you'll just stop."
"Stop what?"
"Existing."
"How do you know man?"
"I've been around for a long long year."
"I don't want to stop existing... I just won't ever rain."
"Good luck with that."

A Conversation between Junkies

"Got any smack?"
"No."
"Push off then."
"What's with the hostility, man?"
"Got any money?"
"No."
"Sounds familiar."
"Man, just leave me alone, this alley is too crowded for the two of us."

Hmm...how about...a conversation between a guy who's in a coma and his best friend. The friend thinks the guy in the coma can't hear him, but the guy in the coma can and the readers can see his thoughts responding to the best friend.

Kirby's was better, but you put me on the spot.
