Steal or Splurge?

Your shopping at your favorite store and you see this awesome (tux/dress) [[Depending on what you like to..eh..wear O.o]] and you only have 100$ in your pocket. The dress is only 50$. What a steal right? It's perfect and you'll still have a good half extra to rush and spend off some other things?

Then. You see a dress very similar, but the material is more "rich", there are finner designs and EVERYBODY knows the designer. But the dress is 96.99$ You know that once you spend it on the dress, you'll be wiped out flat and thats the end of shopping plaza for you.

What do you do? Just be honest. ninja

i'm a guy, so my choice is obvious.
i'd rather buy the tux that looks exactly the same as the one that costs twice as much.

It really depends. If they're really really similar, then why go completely broke? But if it's for prom/homecoming/whatever and it looks a lot better, then what the hell? There's always eBay. XD

dude... the matters for clothing are the material
if it's cheap looking the dress/tux will last for a while, but if it's a good material you can count on it to last forever xD

I'd get the cheaper one. Most clothes never last long on me, I gain weight, I loose weight, I get paint on it, it get's stained otherwise.

Better of making the cheaper option. Then I can also get more :3

I agree with Sugrie if it was for something important I'd buy the expensive one, but if it was just to but, I'd get the cheaper one.

Anywho, I like to feel rich, elegant, so maybe I'd go after the richer one. . but then again, everyone would have that one. . and I like to buy accessories and stuff, so maybe the cheaper on.

Hmm... If I left to go buy something from somewhere and had only a certain amount of money for the whole day, I'd go for the "steal," since it fulfills the duty that any suit/tux would.
Now if I had a limit on what I was purchasing not attached to my spending for the rest of the day. I'd go for the best that I could get. I'd like to look good.
Especially in a suit or tuxedo.

If its really cute I'd buy it for the expensive one, but if its the cheap one and still looks good.... I'd buy and put accersories on to make the cheap one look prettier! XD
