this is an old poem i had saved into my computer::



Death’s Note


As I lay face down to the Earth
From the Heavens comes softly falling snow
Covering me in a blanket
And despite the weather and the cold
It is the warmest I have felt in a long time

Though my body goes stiff
And my heart freezes over
And my mind becomes misty and clouded with sleet
Soon I will be held high at the gates of Heaven
With fluffy white clouds at my feet

So even as I lose all sense
With no feeling of snow on my back
I will fly high to the passage filled with things so sweet
Without ever again being somebody’s hack
And I shall do great things no one knows of
But for now I will save all those things for another time
And close my eyes to sleep.
