Well now, here's a predicament. =/

`Okay so, for those of you who haven't noticed I'm currently questing a Fresh Grass Skirt. While I was working on my new quest thread for my Fresh Grass Skirt fund, guess what happened? I get a Pink Giftbox!

Now here's my predicament: sell the giftbox and have more than enough gold for my skirt and have to abandon my brand new thread, or open the giftbox and take my chances (because however small the chance is, I just might get a Fresh Grass Skirt from it). What should I do? What would you do? Have you ever been in a situation like this and if so, what did you do? Did it work out? (I know there's already a thread on giftboxes so I'm trying to make discussion as wide as possible. ^^; )

If someone buys it you'd have enough for a skirt.
But if you open it, theres a chance you'll get something useless.

My opinion:

That's actually quite hard to think about. You've got a few options.

1) If you sell the giftbox, you'll have enough gold if you want to play it safe.

2) If you open it you could get some thing worth like 20 gold or a million if you're willing to risk it.

If I were you, I'd just sell it and play safe but it's really up to you.

Mmk. So based on tektek's amazingness, you've got about a 1:3 chance of getting a valuable item from the gift box. That being worth about the same or more gold than the skirt.

You're questing already, so why not take the chance?

but the other day I got... a Fresh Grass Skirt ninja
saved me from having to quest for it.... but j00 knows... giftboxes are tricky

I got my Coco 6 days after opening my quest thread xD so now I just add things for my quest thread... it might be endless though sweatdrop

if i were you i'd risk it and open it.
you have nothing to lose.
you got it for free and you have a chance at some expensive items.

I don't know, I've only got 1 pink gift box since i've joined gaia almost 3 years ago, when I got it I ended up opening it.
Got a were tail and I sold it for for 24k.. last year. 3nodding so it wasn't so bad, made some gold off of it.

I say it's free, why not see what you get? Though I'd probably sell a blue box and i usually sell trunks and brown boxes.
