well who's internet is it??

If it's yours your folks should know where they safed the password

if it's someone else is, your kinda out of luck unless they want to help you cuz the pass is like this:

e34b89k334e2234x334e3499

so you know it's kinda hard to get

IF all else fails

the router has a reset button hold it for like 30 seconds razz

ok, do you have a router???

if not the Wii is wifi so you need either a router or the LAN adapter

I'm not a Wii specialist but it's all the same principal, if you have a router it can be password protected (in your computer you click the little computer thing with like soundwaves on the bottom right by the clock)

click that twice then hit wireless connections, the one your using is on top, if it has a little lock, your password protected and you need your folks to give it to you or you have to look it up in the PC (there should be a file that says something like: Linksys password or whatever, your folks make the file and it's a word or notepad file)

Any more questions keep asking them here

This really sucks. I can get a connection for my Wii, but not for my DS. I have wifi games for my DS, and not my Wii. Also, my friend can get wireless for his DS, but not his Wii. The Nintendo Gods have foresaken me. FOREGIVE ME GODS OF THE WII, FORGIVE ME MYAMOTO!

Okay your going to have to check how close you are to the router.

is the wii closer to it???

ANNNDDD how much stuff do you have connected (wirelessly) to the router

there is a limit, you can't have your PC, Laptop, DS, Wii and your neighboor stealing your wireless at once razz

check how much you have connected at the moment, also chech that you went and configured your DS to accept that wireless first.

you must (if it's pokemon for example, or Mario Kart) in the TITLE screen of the game go under Nintedo Wireless Connection (or any variation of that)

in that page you will be able to get a wifi signal of anything in range and configure your DS to accept it,

remember if it's password protected to have that at hand, your going to need it

The DS can only accept signals from non-encrypted and WEP-encrypted routers. The Wii, however, supports all encryption schemes. If there is no one else with a Wii or DS (Or you feel comfortable sharing with them) switch your router's encryption to off.

Believe it or not, the nintendo website has a tool to help you connect to either system using your router. And if all else fails, talk to the pros-nintendo's consumer service is for the most part very well trained.

The ds was made before WPA encryption was invented. The wii was made after WPA became in use. This means that the DS is incapable of functioning on wpa and will get blocked out everytime. The wii will work just fine with that kind of router security.

Check your router's security settings by typing in your ip address in a browser window's address bar and usually it will take you to them. If you don't know where your IP address is, or what it is, a good one to try is 192.168.1.1 or you could read the manual that came with your router for instructions on accessing your IP and also instructions on finding your security settings or passwords to even get in to your router control page.

If you have questions for me about getting your Wi-Fi set up, I'm your woman!

Dude that is the "guide"

i mean, not to offend you, but you have to learn a lil bit about wifi to make it work

told you, if you are using a format that your DS doesn't accept change it.

I can't make you a "guide" because I don't know what your router is

I don't know what: make, model

can't tell you anything if you don't give me that

plus i have lynksis, that's the one i know how to work and that one is easy as pie when you put the CD in
