Starting off, I want you to look at Salvador Dali.
Surrealism at it's highest.
Look at Clive Barker.
Horror at it's most wonderous.
Stephen King.
The supernatural come to life.
Lobster Phone, the Clocks, Imajica, Dreamcatcher...
What if all of these things, all these stories and images, what if they were real? Think of yourself, and think of your dreams.

Clarissa Edwards (the poet) once said in a 1967 interview with Time, "The things we perceive as fiction can often be traced back to fact."
Ms. Edwards fell into a coma three months later, and has yet to awaken.
This isn't a work of fiction, and I want to deliever a message to Ms. Edwards' grandson, "The key to the deposit box is in the kitchen floorboard, you know, the one that's been loose since Jennifer broke her ankle on it in 65'."

It is something that you've known all your nights, and forgotten all your days... Everything was born in that abyss... Eventually it'll all go back, a cycle of life and death. This may not make sense now, but it will by the end of this book.

Have you ever had a dream that seemed too real to be fiction?
This is called a breach.
Technically we breach all the time, remembering fuzzy little things about our dreams, but nothing concrete. A serious breach is when we recall 60% of our dreams or up.
These are given special attention in the Abyss.
A total breach has only happened once before (now twice). You wake up, and everything makes sense. You can recall every tiny detail about your dreams, how vivd, and how real they are.

The first total breach on record occured on September 8th, 1966.
The second occured three weeks before this book was written.

I don't know how much time I have left before they decide to silence me.

My name is Jeffrey Altross.
I'm 30 years old.
I went to the Void, and what follows is what I saw.

AWESOME FINISH PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

My dreams--I don't remember them until they come true. Which is totally cool. Irrelevant, yeah, but still fun.

That was the most dramatic title I've seen in a long time. Writing was fantastic, as always.

WRITE MORE! Please?

OH GOD YES <3 <3 FINISH FFFFINNNIISSHH -slaver-
    ..
    -wipes mouth-

Oh gosh. D: <3 Amazing. The beginning lacks suspense, and I didn't have high expectations after the first half, but oh GOD. It ramped up. Whoo.
I'm so excited. DD: Your use of language in the end for suspense is almost cliche, but it works wonderfully.
    GOGOGOGO FINISH. <3

Oh, and the last sentence has some structure issues? I didn't even notice at first cause it was that awesome. o_o

"I went to the Void, and what follows it was I saw."
Should it be 'and what follows is what I saw'?

Intriging as always.

But I could form around the last line.
Im not sure if I was just not grasping your meaning,
Or if it indeed was a structure issue.

On a different note..

CLIVE BARKER OMG!
His New Game.. Jericho, makes me want to pee myself.
So awesome.
