Is it weird I like musicals?

Ok, I like Rent, Hairspray, Chicago, Across The Universe and Moulin Rouge. I would like Highschool musical I'm sure if I could see it. Is this good for my emo reputation? My friends say 'Boy you're out of the loop, you can't be emo and like musicals', but I say emo just means we're different. our own person.

What does everyone else think? If I have to leave the guild because of this, that won't make me sad, but slightly confused. But oh well if I do, yah if I don't.

I <3 Rent & I think Highschool Musical is pretty good.
Being emo has nothing to do with liking musicals.

in fact... some musicals like Rent are possibly alright for it seeing that they are so heartfelt and emotional
but not Hairspray and DEFINATELY NOT HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!!!

ok personally I hate HSM but geez, does everything have to be emotional/heartfelt/depressing?
It's alright once in awhile to enjoy some mood boosting pointless singng and whatnot.
Hairspray is nifty. It made me all warm inside! Well not really, but still!
