My program won the tournament in my computer science class. I got first place, which means I get an automatic 100 on my final exam and I don't have to go and take it. =)

I'm happy because I just got a nice crib, that now is full of stuffed animals and baby things. Also because it has been snowing since yesterday so now there are several inches on the ground! Yes we really need the snow!

Hmm. Quiet on the guild ...
I'm happy because when all is said and done, I will have seen Phantom of the Opera ((and more importantly, heart Anthony Warlow heart )) 3 TIMES!!! We're jetting off to Melbourne next Monday and will be there til early Thursday morning, and whilst there I'll see the show two more times!!

I finished my Use Business Equipment class early, I came home to find my OBCR of Beauty and the Beast had arrived, and I got my new computer for $16,000. I'm using it right now.
It's big.
And BLACK.

A couple of days late, but who cares.
I have a job!
After two and a half years' of going up and down the street asking for employment, I finally get a job. Not in the place I was hoping for, I'll admit ((if I had gotten a job on the River Murray Queen I would've had a free week-long cruise once in every month)), but it's just as "upper class" ((or about as "upper class" as "upper class" gets in small country towns)).
What am I?
A waitress.
Wednesday night I had a 3-hour' waitress trial and now I'm working Friday and Saturday nights. Or at least this week's Friday and Satuday nights, I don't actually know if that's a permanent time table for me. Tonight - or rather last night, as it's now 12:25am ((and Australia has yet to make an appearance in the line in the Opening Ceramony; we're third from the end, which means a long wait)) - was about as interesting as Wednesday night - or moreso, I haven't made up my mind yet. Naturally being Friday night night-time establishments are bound to attract activity but I had no idea how much activity the hotel attracted ((generally it's the club where people go in, get pissed, shoot pool and dance in the tiny space available to the B.S. dance and techno tracks)).
What I don't understand is why people would choose to go out to the hotel to celebrate a 5 year' old's birthday party and get pissed - ON THE NIGHT OF THE OPENING CEREMONY!
Anyway, it's all good. Mostly. I like waitressing; not fond of one of the girls I'm working with but I like waitressing anyway. And it's good experience; I'd never been hit on by an old, drunken Irishman before in my life before tonight.

Tomorrow - which is ... actually ten minutes away - will be a week away from the LSS; the Last Sydney Show of The Phantom of the Opera before it moves on to Auckland in New Zealand.

I'm expecting to be on my toes; last night all the understudies were on ((which meant Alexander Lewis's debut as Erik despite being the main Raoul for the season)). No Ant, Roy or Simon; rather suspicious ...
Plus I'll be meeting around 20-odd people from my website there, and some of them are plotting something for me ((I really don't like surprises; and they know it)).
