Christmas Contest!!!!

Im thinking off an entree fee if not donations arent enough.

1) Best avi contest or best themed avi contest
+Entry fee for participants collect
by the captain
+Post a reply with an image of
the participant's avi
+Seperate post or a sub-folder
with all the participants having their own
post made by the captain
+Every post is given a poll
with a participant's entry and
guild members can vote
between 1 and 10
+The avi with the highest score
in a set number of days is
made winner and recieves
a prize
+The prize could be a rare item
of cash! $_$
-the only problem is that poor newbs (like me ^_^)
probably wouldn't be able to compete with rich gaians.

Anywho. . .

2) Random dice throw contest.
+If the guild ever has any extra money
from contest, (entrance fees being used for
the prize for a contest and there is extra)
that could be used as a prize for a contest.
+If you don't know (you probably do but
just in case) you can have a post action
to go along with your post.
+You could set a goal for people to
reach for throwing dice (like throwing ten
ten-sided dice and reach a certain number
like 10 or whatever) and then reward the winner
with a prize or cash. $_$
+You must allow a set amount of
throws (like 1 or 2) per contest and
disqualify people who cheat.
+Setting an extra post for a hall of shame
(for cheaters) might discourage cheating
'cause you could edit the post if you needed
to.

That about all I can think of right now. . .

ok all sounds good so heres my comment(A) good way ofcourse.
1. No captain in sight im fully incharge (check ownership problem post!!!!!)

we could clean up all subfolders and make one for contests only, although subfolders dont seem to be used much so every1 had got to pay attention and realy want the contests!!

The seperate posts for every player sounds nice caus then you have a clean contest no confusing.

now the idea,
dice contest, is awsome you begun about this.
ive ben fascinated by these contests in random topics.
didnt know how they could get such a good running and clean topic till you explianed it a bit more.

the extra money will be no problem since i have a littl fortune aswell and could spare some for prizes!!
speaking bout prizes we could add a "what do you want" thing at entry and diside on the prize later on!.

the action/goal on what to get for winning and how many tries ya get will be added in the contest itself

the extra post is a good idea didnt know they put it in to frighten cheating players. good idea!

the posibility of making a new sub forum or chainging an old one is something i want your all opinions about

There isn't much else I can do. . .
We probably need to get more new members or
revitalize all of the old member so that the
guild is more active.

If you fix the sub-folder and like put like
Contests,Charity,roleplaying,comments/problems,
artwork, music,chatterbox and anything else you
want then tell all the members about all of the
improvement to the guild, there should be much more
activity. (Especailly with the contests
'cause everbody loves free stuff.) 3nodding The
main forum could then be used for primarily
announcements and other stuff.

question What exactly is a "sticky" question
I now it's a nooby question but I
still don't know what's its difference
is from a normal post. sweatdrop

idea Oh, and with the roleplaying you might want
to set some rules and have a post so that people can introduce
thier characters. (maybe in the main forum.)

P.S. The 27th was my birthday so now I'm 16.

uhm ill mail every member and ask them to mail me back on what they think they can mean for the guild
but with that i have to kick the officers caus none are on

uhm fixing forums sounds good

that way well also see if our leader leader is still on gaia or not

a sticky is something that has to stay on top of the page, but it aint as important as anouncements
so well set rules for stickys and anouncements also

and ill try and get some things clear on who want to rp and who doesnt
